  1. More Democrats have, and continue to jump on the red herring of ethanol fuel.  That was going to save the planet.

When they finally got around to researching it, turns out it not only pollutes just as much, but depletes the soil and raises food prices across the globe.  I don't follow people like that.

  2. TO be honest, I have met more Democrats who are global Warming deniers.    They attack Gore as a crack pot.     Most Republicans I know are pretty silent on the issue.

I will give you a challange.   Talk to a Republican with a large vehicle and see what he does.   Then talk to a Democrat with a SUV about global warming and see how he reacts.  I'm not saying one side is more prone to denying Global warming, but the loudest who do tend to be Democrats.

  3. A Republican.  Conservatives tend to have a high disregard for science.  We've often seen conservatives here saying that all scientists and universities have a liberal bias and are therefore untrustworthy.

Studies have shown that almost all Democrats accept the scientific reality of AGW.  The majority of Republicans do too, but there's still a significant fraction of conservatives who are deniers.

I find it amusing all the Republicans saying 'we think for ourselves' (suggesting that liberals don't), considering the popularity of figures such as Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly who tell their listeners/viewers what to think.  I mean come on, Rush Limbaugh listeners are even called 'Dittoheads'.

  4. The person who relies upon facts (conservative) - not the one who uses only emotions (liberal).

  5. Republicans because they're pro business. Democrats have Al Gore. (you may not like him but look how effective he's been!)

  6. Republicans because they analyze the truths that abound.

  7. Republicans... Because as polls show(as accurate as they can be), that they are more highly educated and on average make more than the average democrat.... So yeah... Republicans aren't as apt to jump on an alarmist band wagon.

  8. Republicans as they tend to analyze the situation as opposed to following the bandwagon.

  9. Republicans. They're also, as religious conservatives, more likely to believe the earth is only 6000 years old despite the mountains (literally!) of evidence showing otherwise.

    Republicans always chase the facts.

When it comes to cigarette smoking, they get the facts - straight from the tobacco companies.

When it comes to global warming, they get the facts - straight from the oil industry.

When it comes to the age of the earth and biological evolution, they get the facts - straight from the Church.

  10. Republicans, because we think for ourselves, and don't follow some dude flying around in a private jet, telling us that we are the problems.

Hmm, it seems not to long ago the earth was supposed to cool down. That didn't happen. And there is evidence that support that humans aren't the biggest contributers to global warming (try volcanoes).

It may be happening, but I think that nuclear war is more of an imminent threat to humans than the earth getting a bit too hot.

  11. It is Republicans because Global Warming is a political agenda supported by Democrats (aka socialists) and moderate (aka follow the crowd) republicans.  I find it amusing that democrats don't like to called socialists when that is their agenda.  I certainly don't mind being called anti-socialists.

  12. It is hard to believe because prior to 1979 they said we were heading to Global-Freezing...then changed it to Global-Warming. Also none of the early 1980's predictions came to pass. The global warming movement lacks real credibility, that's why conservatives have a problem with it.

  13. Republicans. Democrats are too used to drinking Algore's Koolaid

  14. Republicans - because Al Gore invented Global Warming and got the Noble Prize for it.

  15. Republicans, of course!

Those are the people who tend to me more conservative and most reluctant to change and new ideas.

Those are also the people who spend their lives focusing on personal gain and could care less about the welfare of others who are less fortunate. People who are more concerned with short term profit over the long term benefits and global welfare.
