Who's more clutch Kobe or LeBron?

LeBron is the new face of the NBA and is an awesome player, but if I were coaching and I needed a clutch player; the ball would be going to Kobe.

Kobe is more clutch even though I believe clutch is overrated.  If you play well the whole game, then their is no need to "clutch."  Kobe is the better scorer, while Lebron is the better all around player.  Lebron is a better passer and rebounder. Kobe is a better perimeter shooter though.  I feel they complement each other well, and the US will dominate in Bejing because they will lead.

Actually Kobe is known to be more clutch than Lebron. Lebron just does very well in the last quarter, and I have hardly seen Lebron make a clutch shot(not layup, shot). I've seen Lebron choke on clutch layups too. I think that Kobe isn't as clutch as people say he is, but he can make the shot. So no, Lebron isn't more clutch than Kobe. Clutch is mainly about experience, and Kobe is the one who has more.

How many championships do Lebron have, that shows how effective a player is or isn't.  He's supposedly the leader of the Cavs, for so many years, and a lot of players have touched the championship, but not him.  He dosen't have as many game winning shots, and he hasn't been able to improve his supporting cast.  So lovers of Lebron, what exactly are we 'witnessing'??  D Wade has a championship, but what is different from Lebron, Carmelo, Arenas, Stoudamire, or Dwight Howard??  Nothing, were witnessing the same thing in each circumstance, a top NBA player, trying, starving, and yearning for a championship, and thats all.

Lebron came in the league a starter because of players like Kobe coming out of highschool. Kobe's first 2 seasons drag his numbers down so as far as i am concerned career stats mean nothing. Kobe has a better shot. He makes shots with 2 people in his face from anywhere on the floor. He holds the record for 3s in a game and consecutive 3, 9 in a row. I would rather have Kobe shooting the last shot than LJ anyday

There was an article on Yahoo sports about coaches voting for the best NBA's clutch player. Kobe got the majority of votes. and I agree that Kobe is a better clutch shooter.

Last world championship Lebron was unable to make clutch shots. Hope, he's grown up and will show something in Beijing. At least, Kobe will back him up. ;)

Dude, didn't ask about game averages you asked about clutch;  In the clutch Kobe's better.  When it's time to shut your mouth, play your best,  take the lead,  fight to win the game its all Kobe Bryant.  Check the stats on how often and quickly he has brought his team out of a scoring drought in a game and has comeback to win.

I think it would be kobe. Kobe can create different kind of shots and is dangerous on a one on one which usually happens during crunch time.
