  1. Josh Smith is more underrated cause he doesn't have as good of a team so they only talk about him when they talk about the Hawks...

  2. tayshaun prince he made so many amazing defensive plays and doesnt get credit if you ask someone who josh smith is everyone would no if you asked who tayshaun is they would be like who is that just remember when pistons won the title and tayshaun block reggie miller for the game josh smith never did that

  3. Tayshaun Prince Josh Smith kinda sucks he got beat by a girl Candace Parker in a dunk contest.

  4. Prince. he finally got love for making the Olympic team. but not good enough to be a all-star? hmmm

  5. Price hands down..glad that he picked for Olympics

  6. h**l i say the both of them are the same

  7. Josh Smith for me 2

Prince got picked for the olympics, that has to say something.

  8. Right now Tayshaun is the better overall player.  But remember that Josh Smith is only 22 and has alot of time in his career to become a bigger force, which he will.  Somebody in the media asked Dominique Wilkins a couple of years ago who he thought the next Human Highlight Film was and he said Josh Smith.  From what I've heard through the media also is that he's a little bit of a head case.  Does he really have the drive to continuously be better?  In my mind yes, he's a far more underrated player than Tayshaun.   Josh Smith is actually the only NBA player to ever hit 25 three pointers and block 225 shots in the same season.   Tayshaun will get the credit because the media likes the supposed "good character guys - team players" and the Hawks are never broadcast Nationally.  I'd imagine that the Hawks, because of their seven game series with the Celtics will probably be broadcast quite a bit more.  It will be unfortunate he is still not with the Hawks, but if anything he will be going to the Pistons for Prince.

    Josh Smith for me.

  9. smith

  10. I would have to say Josh Smith, Tayshaun is credited by the media, espn, fans, all sorts of things he was chosen for olympics. But Joshsmith doesnt get too much credit I hear about him here and there but i never do hear much you never hear big things about him but if you watch one of his games he does alot of things that could equal to big players like LeBron James, Paul Pierce, Kobe Bryant the thing is people only look at the big things in players to tell whether they are good are not its the little things he does. He started out bad in the NBA but now he has really blossemed.

  11. Josh Smith is way overrated, good help defense I guess, gets some blocks, has a flashy game, non existent jump shot, a tweener. Good athleticism I guess.

Tayshaun by a long shot. Dude is so underrated, he's one of my favorite guys.

  12. That's a hard question to answer...

It's hard to say Tayshaun. I mean, he is on Team USA. And the team is comprised of the best players in the league. Well, excluding foreigners and those that turned down an invite. He's still a constant in discussions of the best defender....

Along with JSmooth. As an native ATLien, I don't think he's that underrated. We all recognize him as a tremendous athlete, great defender and a young player yet to realize his whole potential. He's also in the midst of a group of teams trying to figure out how to sign him from the Hawks.

With that said, I'll go with Josh. It's still a lot of people that only see him as a former slam dunk champ. And Prince has a ring.

  13. Tayshaun's offensive abilities have yet to be displayed. He's always on teams where he's the third or fourth offensive option.

Smith...people realize his potential. They look at Tayshaun as a roleplayer.

Smith wasn't picked for the Olympics because (this is my opinion) Coach K sees him as a player who will be there in the next couple games. He's going to be very offensive minded soon.

Tayshaun is content with being a defensive specialist.

Tayshaun doesn't get the credit he deserves, though. He's so unselfish and a hard worker. I'm glad he's been picked for the Olympics and a former All-Star game. It shows that people notice his talent.

As fans, it's harder for us because we don't see him everyday.

Tayshaun's more underrated, but Smith is the better player.

  14. Tayshaun Prince
