Question:

Who's really to blame for the Cubs' offensive slump?

What's really wrong with the Cubs' offense? Is it because they've run into strong pitching, or is it because the Cubs are sometimes too dumb to execute offensively?

Which Cubs player (s) do you feel need to step up offensively the most?

It's now or never. Will the Cubs ever wake up and snap out of it? Or, will they get the blame for not doing it sooner?

  1. Themselves. If Lou could go out there and swing , im sure he would. Most cubs fans think they can do better though

  2. the whole team! and guess what? ha! ha! THE BIGGEST CHOKE IN HISTORY HAS BEGUN AND CUBS WILL MISS PLAYOFFS! HA! HA! LOOK FOR A 17 GAME LOSING STREAK!

  3. Teams get in funks like this all the time, I don't know if you remember but, the Cubs ran into this right after the All Star break. The Cubs Haters had a field day, saying that it was the begining of the end, well they got out of that funk & they will get out of this one just in time for the playoffs.

I'd like to see D Lee break out of his slump. he's hitting into alot of double plays, popping out & striking out in clutch situations. he needs to get it right but i think they are ALL tired. it's not just the Cubs, everyone is tired. I say since they brought up some young guys, give Lee a day off start Ward or even better start Micah Hoffpauir this weekend.

pay no attention to answerer in the mask, he's a doubter & will be all over the bandwagon once the Cubs win it all.

  4. The gen Manager for not making a trade to lock up the division. 100 yrs & counting

  5. I am a realist and I believe the Cubs will make the playoffs....they have to step up their game if they want to make it through it.  I think that Fukudome is the most overrated player they have and he has done nothing for the team offensely, and I dont want to get started on D Lee....what a disappointing year for him....Can you say OVERPAID!!

  6. well all the players are struggling, its as simple as that.

  7. Oh man, don't even get me started, I would say the most, the playter that has to break out of his slump is Fukudome. I am not sure if they ave run into the strong pitching, but remember it is September. I think the 2008 Chicago Cubs are done for the year, it is getting to be too late, and either way I didn't believe that they would make the playoffs 2 years in a row.

  8. The answer is the same as every other year .

             " CHOKE '

  9. I blame it on their obnoxious fans !!!
