  1. You are a very clever man i believe. Too clever for me that's for sure, that went right over my bewildered head.

  2. The global economy, global companies and their quest for cheap labor, manufacturing, and services, and high energy costs are putting the U.S. at a disadvantage over places like India and China.

But as American jobs are disappearing, prices are rising, and the middle class is disappearing, there is a fundamental shift starting to take place in America. People are starting to spend less, conserve, and rethink what they do. This will have an impact on these big businesses as well. If they don't provide jobs, and hurt other businesses, ultimately fewer consumers buy their goods and services. What goes around, comes around.

China might be the next superpower, once again.

  3. The US has been a force for good in the world.

However, if you know your prophecy; which I think you do, they will eventually fall.  I don't want to see it happen.  However, even trying to enter into a moderate debate with them, or a large swathe of them is often impossible.

They are a declining power, as we were.  In the past few days, I have been told by Americans we support terrorism, they have insulted me when I told them that Great Britain has contributed considerable resources to four American conflicts in seventeen years; ie, the two gulf wars, Bosnia and Afghanistan.

If they treat their friends with such contempt, why should I feel favourably disposed towards them?  An inflated sense of moral righteousness has crept in.  I believe this, coupled with an arrogant view of military invincibility, which they won't even look at objectively will eventually seal their own downfall.

And it will have disastrous repercussions for the rest of us.  Not all critisizm is malicious.  Wake up America.
