There is a difference between referencing others and using someone else's words and claiming them for yourself. Clinton made the thousand cracks speech ... Michelle Obama referenced it ... then Sara Palin referenced it ... not steal the line but say that where She would pick up where Clinton left off. Now you can debate whether she is the person to do that is one thing but Palin did not claim to originate the line.
