  1. we need alternative, but they are not showing up overnight because one guy or the other gets elected. we need to drill for more oil to lower prices in the mean time while funding research.

  2. Using less does not make sense and not drilling would inflate gas prices. McCain can't just convince America to use less...we depend on our automobiles to get from one place to another.

I agree with funding research for alternatives and putting windmills on top of tall buildings. In the meantime, we have to drill. New technology takes time to be improved on, implemented, and marketed to the general public.

  3. your facts are all wrong,  hey vote McCain so he can take us to the gates of h**l to catch Bin Laden,  i'll see you there

  4. McCain would prefer to use nuclear generated electricity....yet due to radon leakage the equiv to power a 20 watt light bulb, millions of Americans are hysterically against his plan to depart from use of dams and coal

Obama hopes to sequester all environmental idealists in one large arena, the New Orleans Arena, for 2 weeks , and siphon their energy into a large vat so he can make sense of the need for alternatives to coal and other fossil fuels

Neither candidate actually mentions using solar heat to separate hydrogen from H2O and compressing the hydrogen, use that to power existing coal powered electric plants

Neither candidate advocates, or promulgates theoretical discussion regarding the uses of compressed hydrogen gas for automobiles

The future is now, in terms of alternatives to oil and petrol

...otherwise prepare for WW3, due to competitions surrounding the access and use of oil

  5. I love it

dont forget the part of Obama's where we leave ANWR alone so we dont disturb the mating habits of some snail dart kangaroo rat or caribou something

  6. There is only one strategy that makes sense and neither of them is totally correct.  Energy independence is not going to be attained by drilling more oil.  Nor will it be attained with windmills.  We need a comprehensive plan that includes all ideas.  Drill for more oil domestically, use bio-fuels and build wind farms as quick solutions. Build nuclear plants, develop clean coal, improve solar energy, build alternative fuel vehicles and look for new technologies.  Independence will only be achieved by using all of the possible solutions.
