  1. There are many outstanding Australian Rules Football players, that narrowing down a list is difficult.  Many players from different eras come to mind and it would interesting to see who would be part of an All Star team.

Players of yesteryear such as Bob Skilton, Ted Whitten, Jack Dempsey, Lou Richards, Kevin Barlett, Gary Ablett, Malcolm Blight and Francis Bourke come to mind.

For more modern players who have to look at people like Dermott Brereton, Wayne Carey (ignore the c**p in his personal life), James Hird, Michael Voss and Tony Lockett.

  2. Roy Cazaly, Ron Barrassi, Ted Whitten, Norm Smith, theres a few of them.

  3. There are so many truely great players in AFL, past and present.

modern days, i think gavin wanganeen has to be amongst the greats

  4. James Hird...

  5. I would have to say Chris Judd and Ben Cousins are leaving their Mark, John Worsfold (and he a great coach too) Norm Smith Bill Walker  Peter Sumich, and the Matera Brothers..... also Tony Lockett, Bill Hutchinson, dermott Brereton, Barry Cable, John Daly, Gary Dempsey, Ken Farmer, Simon Madden, Bill Mohr, George Moloney, the ever in you face John "Sam" Newman, Len Thompson ok ok i think my brain has exhausted its AFL greats capability now

  6. gary ablett snr ( and jnr is not far off - he's bloody good!)

  7. gary ablett snr or tony lockett

  8. Bumper Farrel
