  1. right now is Manny Pacquiao exciting fighter.

  2. Terry McGoveren the best Featherweight. Fought Bantamweights like Tim Callahan, Harry Forbes, Casper Leon and Pedlar Palmer.  Featerweights George Dixon, Aurelio Herrera, Young Corbett II and Dave Sullivan. Lightweights Frank Erne, Joe Gans, Jimmy Britt and Battling Nelson clearly the best of his time.

  3. 1. willie pep is the greatest featherweight of all time 230-11 two time world champion. will o wisp

    2. sandy saddler(144-16 103 kos) held the world title for seven years, never stop in 160 pro fights, beat pep 3 times one of the high knockout totals in boxing history behind sugar ray robinson and archie moore

    3. henry armstrong(151-21 101 kos) only man to hold three belts simaltaniouly

  4. henry armstrong, who won feather, light, and welter titles and for a time held them simultaneously

  5. Theres been great feather weight champions- Sanchez was great, Azumah Nelson, Jeff Fenech, Pedrosa, Espinoza and more but the best of them all was Henry "HOMICIDE HANK" Armstrong...181 fights..151 victories..101 kos.. won titles in featherweight, welterweight, lightweight , in that order...and with an irregular heartbeat, one of the greatest ever

  6. Henry Armstrong followed by Salvador Sanchez.  What Arstrong accomplished will likely never happen again.  Sanchez died before the entire world got to know just how dedicated to his profession he was.

  7. It depends on who you like better Julio Cesar Chavez (super featherweight) or Wilfredo Gomez, either would qualify as the best featherweight of all time in my opinion.  Edgre Jofre gets an honorable mention.

My personal favorite is Salvador Sanchez, the only knock on Sanchez is he never got the chance to extend his career.

  8. Most boxing experts including myself consider Willie Pep to be the greatest featherweigt of all time.  He is also considered one of the best pound for pound of all time and many consider him to be the best defensive fighter of all time.  He is rumored to have won a round without throwing a punch and not getting hit.  His record speaks for itself- 230 wins, only 11 losses, and1 draw.  Only Sandy Saddler was able to get the best of him, but Pep was past his prime when they fought and Pep still managed to beat him once in their four fight series.  The way that he was able to dominate his era and win so many times, make him the best featherweight of all time in my eyes.
