Now for people who Think Anderson is better than Fedor. I have to disagree , look at Fedors record compared to Silvas , and Anderson has lost legitmetly before a few times , and he has been put in trouble before by henderson , and lutter. Fedor has never even been put in trouble , and has never legitametly lost , and He is so much bigger and stronger and more durable than Anderson he would beat him. Fedor is the greatest that ever lived just wait and see this saturday.

Mixed martial arts junkies talk like he is too inactive against top competition.  I say he fights enough to keep the title of best fighter in the world regardless of weightclass until he is beaten.  Two fights per year last two years, all A & B class fighters in my opinion. Far more fights per year prior to that, and his only loss was due to a cut 8 years ago 2000

ok well lets look at this closely...

1.Georges St. Pierre is good but not quite great, getting there though. Still looks like hes a "back and forth" fighter. one day he beats matt hughes, the next he loses. another is loss to Matt Serra, the next win over matt serra. he needs to prove that he can take on a great fighter and not have to rebound his way to the top. but getting close

2. Anderson Silva dominated the middleweight class no doubt, i mean to beat rich "ace" franklin twice using the same technique that killed him the first time is outstanding. but then again hes now a light heavy which means hes going to have to prove alot to fighters in this weight class in terms of size. he needs to prove hes the best mma fighter by taking on guys like forrest and chuck. still a young gun in this business and has a long way to go now that hes in a new weight class.

3. Fedor is absolutely a monster. i think fedor can take more than a punch, i mean if you watched the kevin randleman and fedor fight, it shows that this dude has one h**l of a chin. hes taken on big guys like sapp and randleman and giant silva. but i think mma is a lot more than just size and strengths. I think the up and comming fight between fedore and tim silvia will determine if hes good enough. tim had lost to noguiera by RNC and what makes a fighter an even better fighter is learning from your mistakes and perfecting it. but fedore is not a submissions dude, so a good stand and bang will determine if he can handle a technical fighter like silva.

4. and BJ Penn IS right now, the best pound for pound fighter. he came back from the early days of UFC and hes fighting like hes in his early 20's. to take the title in two weight classes proves hes the best. hes at the top of his game and to show that he can just hop into weight classes like that and dominate, he is the best mma fighter. i mean hes the ONLY american to receive a BJJ black belt in such a short period of time. hes the best.

Faber, IMO, is the best P4P fighter in the world, dude has the best cardio of any fighter I've EVER seen, when he went 5 rounds with Pulver, I was truly amazed how fresh he still was. Spider Silva, Penn, and GSP definitely deserve recognition, but I absolutely cannot wait for the day that Faber fights Penn, that will be an incredible fight.
