He's a freelancer so repairs are cheaper but he's Microsoft certified.  ÃƒÂ‚£15 an hour!  I think he does discounts for students, as well.  So much more personal and less expensive than a big company and just as professional.  And Mike is a really great guy, too!

Im on exchange from the USA and Tesla Computers in North London came highly recommended from my office.

I phoned up and left a message and got a call back in about 30 mins. They tried to see if it was an easy fix for me by giving me some ideas of things to do.

In the end they came and collected my laptop gave me all there details, it came back the a day later. Physically clean (woot!) and windows now started again. No data was lost etc. It cost £80 which i thought was good for the time frame. PC world wanted 79.99 and a 7 day lead time. A local walk in place said 3-4 days £75 but looked  bit iffy as i had personal documents on there.

A few other places i looked at dident seem to know so much. Also Tesla seem to be Microsoft certified etc. I think its only small as it says "partnership" and has UK registration number on the invoices etc. Its worthing checking the credentials of any company you have neverused before with all ur computer info so its worthing feeling confident before u choose someone!
