Who's the better linebacker, Derrick Brooks or Ray Lewis?

As a Bucs fan, I used to think Derrick Brooks until I found out that Ray Lewis has just one less Pro Bowl than Brooks (9 compared to 10), actually got the same number of All-Pro 1st teams (5 compared to 5) and is also a 20/20 club member while being 2 years younger than Brooks. So what do you think?

I think Ray is a Great MLB, and i think Derrick Brooks is a great OLB....

Two different state of minds for both of their positions....

I just say i think Derrick Brooks is the one of the best OLB in the league

and Ray Lewis is the one of the best MLB in the league...

its hard for me to compare the two positions.

I would say Ray. Both are phenomenal fundamentally, and I might even give Brooks the edge in that sense. But Ray plays with so much intensity, that he really gets his whole team going in a way Brooks doesn't.

Derrick Brooks, but barely. Ray Lewis has dwindled lately.

wow Ray Lewis is better and I'm not a fan of him at all but i will have to admit he is one of the best to play MLB, Derrick Brooks is great also but Ray Lewis slight edge.

wow this is a great question. I would say Ray by a small bit. Ray still has some career in him left, Both are Hall of famers no question.

By the way they both also have 1 NFL Defensive player of the year award
