  1. used to be rex williams, its a fix how did them indians knock em' in with them almost spherical cues?

  2. It   is   really   hard   to   pick   because  so   many   of   the  pros  are   awesome  pool   players.   Allison   Fisher   is   one   of   my   favorites.   Johnny   Archer,   Earl   Strickland,  Efren  Reyes,   and   many   more

  3. Efren Reyes, no doubt.

I don't know why people keep spewing out snooker player names. Snooker is neither pool, nor billiards. Obviously snooker players should not even be in the conversation unless their dominating the professional pool circuit, and that's certainly not the case.

  4. Fong Pan Chao

    or

    Yan Chin Shun

  5. joe Dave's

  6. Thats a subjective question and you forgot about snooker

  7. Madame Toussad

  8. Having read the comment, - above, - claiming that RAY REARDON is the greatest snooker player, - having won the World title, on no fewer than SIX occasions, - I am PROMPTED to REPLY, with a QUESTION, of my OWN, - to wit:-

"AREN'T YOU FORGETTING THE MAN KNOWN AS 'THE NUGGET?", aka STEVE DAVIS!

And, WORSE, STILL, - a young man, who superseded the World Title achievements of BOTH Messrs. REARDON and DAVIS?

The young fella, in QUESTION, here?

SEVEN-time World Champion, STEPHEN HENDRY, M.B.E., - the REAL "MASTER CUEMAN"

    THAT, though, deals with SNOOKER!

Now, - admittedly, - I know LITTLE, about POOL, (I'm an ENGLISHMAN, and, POOL, is an AMERICAN concept), - so, I don't feel qualified, to pass COMMENT!

BILLIARDS, however, is the OLDEST of the three games, mentioned, and, - although the SURNAME of the GREATEST-ever "EXPONENT", thereof, - DAVIS, - has been MENTIONED, already, - THIS time, I refer to an OLDER, - in fact, now DECEASED, - player, - the legendary JOE DAVIS!

And, - for those who don't KNOW of it, - Joe Davis's achievements were REMARKABLE, for one OTHER reason, - the truth is, that, - although he was RIGHT-HANDED, as a PLAYER, - his VISION, was severely IMPAIRED, by the FACT, that he was BLIND, in his RIGHT EYE!

Not MANY people, are AWARE of the great man's physical lack of vision, - but, it IS a FACT.

  9. I have to say that Efren Reyes has to be included in any 'best player' topic. If you were to ask all the top pool players in the world who is the greatest of all time, Efren's name would come up a lot more than anyone elses. He has won almost every title that means anything against all of the best players in the last 30 years or so.

Even into his 50's he is still a threat to win any tournament he enters. In 1-pocket, which requires a lot of knowledge as well as the ability to execute, he is still far and away the most dominant player in the world.

  10. I am, I'm modest as well!!!

  11. eric strickland

  12. i think you'll find its meeeeeeeee

  13. Depends on the game you want, There are Trick shot legends like Mike Massey, 9 ball queens like Allison Fisher who has won a ridiculious amount of tour titles, probably the best womens billiards player ever, 9 ball, snooker, there are so many different attributes, depends what you are looking for.

  14. Right now I think it is either Cory Deull or Francisco Bustamente

  15. I am. Bow down to the King of Pool/Billiards.

just kidding. I would say Efren Reyes

  16. The player who probably gets the greatest amount of respect from his peers is Philipino legend Efren Reyes.  Easily the most storied player alive and likely will be remembered as one of the greatest in history.
