  1. Chelios must work hard to stay in the shape he is in at his age. Same with Lidstrom

But then also any team that's young or is doing really well. You don't see any slackers in the NHL, and if you are doing good, you are working really hard.

  2. Gary Roberts

  3. Jarome Iginla

  4. Kris Draper - Detroit Red Wings

Thomas Holmstrom - Detroit Red Wings

Rob Blake - Where ever he's at now. . .

Dino Ciccerelli - Retired, but was the hardest working hockey player ever in my opinion. . .

  5. I would say it could be Mattias Norstrom (who wears his skates two sizes too small to "stay alert"), Tomas Holmstrom (he battles in front of the net the whole game, dealing with cheap shots and never takes emotional penalties), Chris Chelios (who is older than dirt and it's hard to stay in shape at that age), or realistically any rookie. Rookies spend their time conditioning, playing as hard as they can, and kissing a** just to earn a spot on the team. They're not as comfortable as any veteran who may get lazy because their role is guaranteed by experience, friendship, contracts, or the rewards of the a** kissing they did as a rookie.

  6. For my team I've gotta say Marian Gaborik he did great last season I can't wait till this season begins.

  7. sam ganger is the hardest worker ive ever seen

  8. Santa and his deers.

  9. Chris Osgood.

  10. Alfredsson

  11. Aaron Voros definately. he left the wild this year but whoever gets him is one lucky team

  12. Honestly?

    All around.....

Chris Chelios- the man has a stationary bike in the sauna in the looker room. You have to be a work out fiend to be able to play 17mins a game at age 47, and he is obsessed with WORKING OUT! End of Story! Chelly gets my vote by default.

On ice- Anyone but Afinogenov, Lang, Calder, Yashin, etc... those are some lazy one way players! Basically almost all the players work hard.. some make it look easier than the others, but come on... there's 100s of guys who want their job badly! Guys who bust their hineys down in the MINORS wanting a chance at a roster spot. Anyone caught lollygagging on a respectable team is done for.

  13. ovich

  14. Zach Paris, John Madden and Jay Pandolfo have a great work ethic....i mention all Devils because obviously that is who I see the most and the only players i am even in a position to say....

And of course the most on the team is Martin Brodeur...even if it does get him into trouble eventually....he would play all 82 and then some if the coaches would let him

  15. I've always been impressed by Rod Brind'Amour's work ethic. That's what endeared him to so many Flyers fans and why he is one of my all-time favorite players.

  16. Chris Chelios.  He is the NHL's oldest player at age 47.  He has to work so hard for him to even appear to be at the same level as the other guys.  He's fighting against time as well as his opponents.

  17. In my opinion probably any big defenceman (eg. Chris Pronger, Sheldon Souray, or Zdeno Chara)
