Who's the most popular pop singer in Italy now? Eros Ramazzotti or the others ?

Pleae don't say he/she is the most popular because you are a fan of his/hers. You love him/her , but this doesn't mean he/she must be the most popular in Italy. Please judge his/her popularity according to the real-life situation.

In Italy the most popular singers are:

Vasco Rossi; Eros Ramazzotti; Laura Pausini...

Luca Dirisio, Nek, Toto Cutugno(:-P),Alex Britti aren't important.

Eros Ramazzotti=Laura Pausini   90%

Nek 60%, but not in this moment.

Tiziano Ferro 70%(I like him!!)

Alex Britti 20%

Luca Dirisio 1%

Toto Cutugno -40%

Italian *pop* singer are more popolar OUTSIDE Italy.

INSIDE italy are more popolar *rock* singer and band, like

Vasco Rossi (INMHO the best!)

i'm italian!!!! and the most popular are ligabue vasco and...yes it's true laura pausini and tiziano ferro are really popular!!massimo di cataldo is not so popular and eros ramazzotti is well know enough because of his song with ricky martin!!!

omg Massimo di Cataldo is known abroad? I used to like him back in the days but unfortunately he's not that popular anymore now...Toto Cotugno used to be popular but years ago...Ramazzotti is popular but not so much...as the others said it is mostly about Vasco Rossi, Litfiba, Ligabue, and I would add Zucchero (Fornaciari) and Negramaro...Tiziano Ferro and Laura Pausini are very popular but I think they are even more popular in South America than in Italy...also Gemelli Diversi are popular among youngsters...Giorgia too...

But all considered, Italians prefer music from the UK and the USA (except right now young pre-teens and teens are all crazy about Tokio Hotel...a band from Germany) and singers and bands from these countries are more loved and listened to than italian artists...
