For the Angels I have to say Garret Anderson. I know he gets a lot of heat from angel fans and other people how he doesn't hustle or doesn't have a passion for the game etc etc but he's always had a strong second half and he's a good left fielder. He's helping the offense right now and even has a 22 game hitting streak. GA is GA and i don't think its right for people to assume he doesn't like the game or is a mean person. I for one respect him he's been here all his life and has broken a lot of angel records.

  1. from the mariners theres no dought in my mind that its rauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuul ibanez

every one talks about ichiro but never the team leader in rbi's and num 2 in hrs

    also felix hernandez

  2. Marcus Thames and Nate Robertson, they are great players for the Tigers, Nate pitches great some games, and Marcus is just a HR hitting player, they are great.

  3. Cardinals - Ryan Ludwick. 30+ home runs, and hardly any mention of him!

  4. Wouldn't you respect him more if he hustled and showed passion for the game.  Wouldn't that make it seem like the work he does for the team and the fans (who pay his huge salary) is more than just collecting a pay cheque??

I'm actually just asking if you SAW it more, wouldn't that make you feel even better about rooting for him?

  5. I agree with you on Garret Anderson. He's tried to play "mad" before, and it didn't work. He does hustle, but it just doesn't appear like it. GA hustles. But, I also think Juan Rivera should get more playing time. GA is the man

  6. Under-rated: The Say "K" Kid, Tim Lincecum =D

    Over-rated: Sorry, Barry Zito.

  7. dont forget about Juan Rivera

  8. underrated = Eugenio Velez

    overrated = Rich Aurilia

most other guys mentioned often deserve it and the ones not mentioned deserve that too

  9. For the Braves it would have to be Brian McCann.  He is clearly the second best catcher in the NL (the Cubs' catcher has to be #1) yet he barely made the all star team.

  10. underrated giants SP Matt Cain

  11. Juan Rivera is a great answer. He's been going from AAA to MLB his hole career but managed to do everything the Angles ever asked of him.

I would have to say Roy Halladay. I hear to many people say he's not good enough when in reality he's one of the top 3 in the league, if not #1. He is the most consistant pitcher in baseball.

And most underrated player is Justin Morneau. Sports Illustrated asked all managers in the bigs who their first two picks would be in a draft & not one person said him when almost all other previous MVP winners were picked at least once. He has also won the HR durby & is one of the top fielders at his respected position.

  12. Cubs - underrated - Ryan Dempster

  13. For the Brewers I would have to say Jason Kendall. He is not the best hitter in the line up but has handled the pitching staff well and without him  I'm not sure the Brewers would be were they are in the standings.

  14. For the Rockies:

    Most underrated- Garrett Atkins

    Most overrated- Brian Fuentes

  15. Nick Punto he has been on Web Gems probably over 20 times. Best Defensive player, he plays all infield positions and still has a fielding % of .992.
