I disagree. Its either the match wouldve been a win for Pacquiao or a draw. Marquez couldnt figure Pacquiao out. No matter how many times Pacquiao got countered, he still came back with aggression and fierceness. 100% Pacquiao won the fight.

I think everybody would have been happy with a draw.

Pacquiao seemed surprised when he won the decision. I was confident Marquez was going to win. Pacquiao did a good job, but he didn't deserve the fight. Marquez needed a ko to beat Pacquiao, since he was not going to get a decision over the POPULARITY of Manny.

Well I think that the match would either go with a win for Manny or a draw. That 3rd round knockdown of Marquez was a huge factor for Pacquiao. If Marquez did not go down, he could have won or it could have been a draw. The two fighters in the whole match was pretty even with Pacquiao and Marquez alternately winning rounds and going toe-to-toe with each other. Another factor for Marquez lost is because of the cut on his left eye. I know both fighters had a cut on their left eye but Marquez cut was bleeding so much and I think the judges counted that against him. Anyway,they were pretty good fighers. Like all other fans of boxing, I want another rematch between them.

Pacquiao won and that's it. We all have our own expectations and pet for bet...but that's why there are judges in competitions or in any sports fights. Whether we like their decision or not, theirs is what prevails not our opinion or not our choices/expectations.

They are both good fighters but Manny won. His victory is legitimate.

Next time you question judges decision go and be the judge...seems like you think you are better than them ...if not you could just call commentators in sports show to do the judging.

I think that Marquez should have won the decision, but there is no way you can say that he got robbed.

The two most punishing punches in the fight had Manny on the receiving end.  The 3rd round knock down, and the 10th round bomb that Manny dropped (in my opinion did more damage than the knock down).

I saw it 8 rounds to 4, and Manny had a 10-8 round (115-112 for Marquez).  Having said that, Manny should have been awarded 2 knockdowns in the 3rd, as Marquez sat on the ropes to avoid a second knockdown.  Had the referee done his job properly the 3rd round would have been 10-7 for Manny.

At any rate, it was a great fight, and a 3rd is definitely called for.

Pacquiao deserves it. "Pacman" really had eaten Marquez off already. And even in their first match, it was horrible that Marquez won. With three knockdowns to Marquez, it was worth telling Pacquiao really won it. He was robbed off the win. And if people say Marquez should have won this second fight of theirs, then that's what you call " bad karma". And if not, we just have to respect the judges' decision, and in this case, PACQUIAO's the real champion!

i had it scored 114-113 for Marquez but i would not say Marquez was robbed as the fight was just to close to score it could have gone either way and in this case it went in Manny's favor i think they should have a rematch but weather it will happen is up to Manny as he is planning on moving up a weight

This person is obviously expressing his hate for Manny Pacquiao and not only that, because he does not agree with how the fight went, he is also insulting the authority of the judges and the world of boxing as a whole. Im not a boxing fan nor am I interested in this matter. But I think you should stop answer questions like this. It, as you see on the answers, creates divisions among races. So, go talk about this matter to your neighbor, where Filipinos and other nationalities wouldn't hear you.

a win is a win regardless  , i would not say pacman didnt derserve to win but an immeidaite rematch should be automatic,  they both gave one h**l of a fight i enjoyed this fight more than the first. These guys need to fight again right away if JMM wins the next one  fine another rematch otherwise everyone will shut up and give  pacman his full /due credit.

Yeah much better...Marquez= 4 knockdowns in 24 rounds vs. Pacquiao= no knockdowns.

The better fighter won a close fight. He deserved it coz he prepared for it and knocked him again. For Marquez to win, everybody knows he needs to at least knock down Pacquiao. But he can't so he will never win against Pacquiao ever. Even in another rematch.

A rematch would only see him making love to the canvas again. Poor face.

The man who holds the belt is the champion and the winner. He will be a better champion than JMM ever was because a true champion cannot live on counterpunching alone. That is why people will always pay to see Pacquiao fight because he is the total package. A true champion that can excite boxing fans.
