Someone could say that a tropical storm is caused by global warming but they are made by condensation/water vapor, and wind storms!!!!

the total global  tempreture average can only vary by 2 degrees celsuis or it is death to us all.

the faster our planet loses  the Ice caps the less cooling ability it has

we have had a 3/4 of a degree incress in average global tempreture in the last 15 yearsand .62 of one degree in the average tempreaturein the 30 years before that and a 1/4 ofa degree loss in the hundred years before that.

We are living on the narrowest of margins of life sustainable tempreture range for HUMAN survival this planet has ever seen.  Massive efforts should have been instituted 40 years ago. and the estimated time for the planet to recover is only a theory but the best guess is 500 years after 95 % of the world HUMAN population is dead and gone.

provided HUMAN kind has enough airconditioned holes ready to crawl into with 5% of the world population in time.

Here a question for u guy that believe in global what made the icebergs melt. we had no green house effects back then, there where no plains trains, cars, pollution back then and nobody use hair spray that put a hole in the ozone layer? David Evans is a rocket scientist who served as a consultant to the Australian Greenhouse Office for 6 years.  When he started in 1999, he bought into all the doomsday hype, and devoted himself to the study of the issue.  By 2007, "the evidence was pretty conclusive that carbon played only a minor role and was not the main cause of the recent global warming."

  

Per Mr. Evans:

The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it.

There is no evidence to support the idea that carbon emissions cause significant global warming. None.

The satellites that measure the world's temperature all say that the warming trend ended in 2001, and that the temperature has dropped about 0.6C in the past year (to the temperature of 1980).

The new ice cores show that in the past six global warmings over the past half a million years, the temperature rises occurred on average 800 years before the accompanying rise in atmospheric carbon. Which says something important about which was cause and which was effect.

A single volcanic eruption emits more 'greenhouse gasses' than automobiles and factorys have EVER produced.  

Deep ocean vents continuously belch tons and tons of noxious sulfides and hydrides every minute.

Al Gore and the rest of the Dummycrats would have us believe that we are destroying the planet by driving and SUV to work.  

People, gasoline powered automobiles have only been around for 130 years, most of which in very insignificant numbers.  

The industrial revolution began a mear 200 years ago.

200 years is hardly a blink compared to the earth's 4.5 billion year history of change.

Global Warming (natural) itself is not a myth, the question is whether or not Anthropogenic Global Warming (manmade) is a myth.

Natural Global Warming or Greenhouse Effect is responsible for the Earth maintain temperatures above freezing and allowing Flora and Fauna to flourish to present levels.

The most powerful of the Greenhouse Gases is incorrectly identified as Carbon Dioxide.  Water Vapor is the most abundant and powerful of these Gases (URL#1).  Most Pro-AGW supporters don't even mention Water Vapor, and any sites that do mention this have no reference between Gases or the percentages to which they occupy the atmosphere.

I've heard some claims that Water Vapor is constant and therefore not responsible for the temperature gains.  I have a problem with this since the Humidity Levels day-to-day and location-to-location vary greatly around the globe.

There are many reasons why people should question the validity of AGW.  A nice one is the Bering Land Bridge which was available 11500years ago and is the primary basis for the Clovis First Theory for peopling of the Americas.

This Land Bridge is a 55mile stretch between Alaska and Siberia which currently has a Sill Depth of 165feet, or 1980inches (URL#2).

If you take into account the stated Climate Stability of the last 10,000years, known as the Holocene Period, the rate of Sea Level Rise is 1.32inch/year for a 1500year period.

If you take the stated Sea Level Rise (URL#3) as valid, the current AGW attributed rise is 0.04-0.1inch/year.  Hmmmm.

I'll meet you half way on this.  If there is global warming, it is because of the Earth's natural cyclical processses.  The Earth goes through cooling and heating phases all the time and there is no "ideal" temperature.

The way I see it, the Earth does what it wants, when it wants and our activities as humans do not and cannot influence the weather.  We can't even predict the weather without some error, let alone control or influence it.  

The myth is that man is causing it, and this is to keep us busy with worry while our freedoms are slowly taken away, piece by piece. Remember Y2K?  Multi-colored terrorist Alerts?  What did we gain from that?

I don't think it's a Myth but I also don't think man is causing it.  The Earth goes through cycles of weather and we are experiencing change constantly.  Truth is we cause 3% of the green house gas output.  Volcanoes cause a much higher percentage.  Sounds like we need to get rid Volcanoes if the green freaks are right LOL....

Are you aware that EVERY reputable scientific institution in the world now agrees that Global Warming is really happening, a serious threat to us, and that we are causing it with our Co2 emissions.

Why? Because a huge global research effort has been made by countless scientists. There are some skeptical arguments floating around, but although they may sound convincing to the lay person, when examined scientifically they amount to nothing more than irrelevant nit-picking.

Consider the fact that every day, the total amount of carbon emitted by us, if condensed to a solid form would be about the weight of a small mountain. This scale of tampering with the atmosphere is bound to have an effect sooner or later.

I understand that intuitively it may feel crazy that we can have such a profound effect on the world through our activities, but when so many scientists are telling us that we do, and to do something about it, the only sensible thing to do is to listen to them!

Yes, it most certainly is a myth and more than that.

The myth was created to extort money from industry. Environmentalists promoted it for their own purposes.

Attacks by environmental groups and government increased operating cost of industry.

No new refineries, nuclear power plants, or oil exploration was allowed.  Raising the price of oil.

So we, the users of energy and industrial products, pay more for taxes, gasoline, and everything else manufactured.

Everyone has made money off the global warming scam except the ordinary consumer.

Now the same liberals that created this mess are blaming industry for it.  The world must be crazy!

Global warming could just be two words that don't really mean anything in the future but for now it is a great way to get people to take a look at what their greed is doing to the environment. If you take more than you need there will be consequences! No myth there.

I agree with you, it is mother nature, however we are heling mother nature do what it does best (tornadoes, storms, heat waves, droughts). Typically people who disagree with the fact that global warming is real are typically not very educated on the matter. Go do some reading. Just so you know, 99 percent of the world's scientists agree that global warming is real and urgent. It's really not rocket science, the question you should ask youself is...How can burning an equivalent of the Great Lakes water volume in gas, coal and oil during a long timespan NOT influence the climate?

It is more than a myth, it is a deliberate fraud intended to reap higher profits for producers of coal, gas and oil. By introducing this myth beginning in the mid 1930s they have built it to where they can justify their new higher profits as going to research to find cleaner fuels. They will of course never find any until every ounce of coal and drop of oil has been consumed. Has no even taken the time to observe that the more rhetoric on AGW that is promoted and publisher the higher the street price of these products gets and the higher the profits of the core suppliers gets.

The core energy providing companies are laughing all the way to the bank and using our money to acquire diversified companies outside of energy to ensure their continued profits when the well goes dry in a couple of hundred years. They know that AGW is a scam and fraud because they created the concept in their marketing offices and they are also politically making it very difficult and expensive to bring functional alternatives on line.
