31 ANSWERS

  1. Rip Hamilton, he's just a great player, the mask is cool and aslo he doesn't need the ball to score, he moves so great without the ball, and his jumper is so nice. Whats not to love?

  2. Michael Redd, most people never hear of him because he plays in the small market of Milwaukee.  Last 5 years hes averaged 21 points or more in each season.  Only bad thing is he has a history of injuries.

  3. Paul Pierce

  4. Tracy McGrady before his injuries. If he hadn't been injured he would be as good as kobe.

Amare Stoudamire because he puts all his heart in his game and full of energy.

  5. Steve Nash because he can completely transform a team, like he did with the suns.

  6. "Myself."

    "I also TEACH basketball."

    "I am incorruptible."

"I have never been paid to play, nor train basketball players."

  7. Kobe

  8. Currently LeBron James the guy is a manchild and can score at will on anybody from anywhere on the court.

All Time Michael Jordan the greatest player of all time point blank period.

  9. Allen Iverson in Philly and now Ray Allen (best 3 point shooter in the game today and will be all-time by the end of his career). Congrats to the big three for your well deserved titles.

  10. Oscar Robertson

  11. Man...

I have so many, I'd be better off just stating some of my favorite. If I were starting a team, this would be my rotation.

    C) Dikembe Mutombo - one of the best defensive centers of all time.

    F) Tim Duncan - Great in the low post and very unselfish. Just an extremely solid all around big man.

    F) Scottie Pippen - top 5 perimeter defender probably all-time and great all around skill set.

    G) Michael Jordan - Best shooting guard and perimeter scoring threat ever. Lock down defender.

    G) Terry Porter - One of the few guards that can do everything a good guard is needed to do. He can shoot the three lights out, defend, and run the offense. All very well. He's also a big guard (6'3" 195).

    6) Shawn Kemp - I just think he was the most exiciting and explosive big man ever. He'd be a great backup to the more skilled Duncan, and the better defender in Mutombo.

    7) Detlef Schrempf - He's the poor mans Larry Bird in that he's big (6'10") and can shoot, pass, and rebound very well. Good back up to Pippen when he's out or hurt.

    8) Reggie Miller - Lethal shooter and doesn't need the ball to create a shot. Very important when you have ball dominant players like Jordan/Pippen/Duncan.

    9) Steve Nash - He's a crappy defender, but he is, and I say this with confidence, the best shooter at the PG spot I have ever seen. He'll give you 45% from three, 90% from the line, and well over 50% overall. That's something you should value off the bench.

So while this all besides the point, lol, I couldn't just pick just one player, therefore I had to assemble a team.

There are probably like 30 other players I'd like to list but these are some of my favorites.

  12. John Stockton: Tough player who I molded my game after.

Jason Richardson:  Gifted dunker and scorer

Josh Smith:  Great all-around player.  Shot blocking ability and his flying ability.

  13. Kobe...hes an as*hole but hes fun to watch

  14. Kobe because he is one of The Most successful Basketball players in The League.

  15. Truth

He finally made it to the promised land after being triple covered his whole career.

He got to go one on one with the "superstars" that nobody outside of Boston believed he was equal to, and he outplayed them.

I think it's fitting that "you can't handle the truth" was Nicholson's line.

  16. Dominique Wilkins. The man is the most underrated player ever. There is no way he is not at least equal to MJ. Only reason MJ gets more fame is cuse he has the shoes, ect. Dominique was more quiet, and didnt care about his public image as long as he got the work done and won the game. Not discrediting MJ or anything, but Dominique was an awesome player, my fav of all time.

  17. Kobe Bryant, his skills and tactics are so perfect. He will become another miracle.I have some Kobe's star shoes bought at www.features-clothing.com,I love them so much.

  18. Tracy McGrady

  19. Kobe.

He is the best player in the game right now and one of the best all of time.  I'm sorry but in my opinion...I think he is so great because I really don't see anything that Kobe cannot do.  What can he not do "ON THE COURT"?  (that excludes all of the wise cracks about Colorado, Shaq, etc.)  He can do anything he wants on offense, great defender, and he'e proven he can make his team better.

I wouldn't count him not winning the Finals as "something he cannot do".  It takes a TEAM to win it all and quite frankly the Lakers TEAM choked in the Finals......not Kobe.  The Celtics made it very clear that all they had to do was double and triple Kobe and make the rest of the Lakers beat them.

  20. Wade because i thought he would win a title rite away when i saw his performance in his rookie season, great player, third best in league or second.  Rick Barry because he pulled the greatest upset in nba finals history and was a Warrior.

  21. ever: there's two Larry Bird and Pistol Pete Maravich both of which could out-shoot, out-pass and out-think their opponents...in Larry's case throw good defense and rebounding, clutch shooting, and INSANE HUSTLE and in Pete's case throw in INVENTING "Showtime" (ask Magic or Larry)...

  22. Dwight Howard

  23. my top 5

    1. Kobe

    2. LeBron

    3. Jason Kidd

    4. Dwight Howard

    5. CP3

  24. Kevin Garnett

  25. wade, carrried a team to championship and he is very entertaining

  26. SUPERMAN

Dwight Howard.... need i say anything else

  27. Allen Iverson: At only 6"0 (thats being generous) he is 3rd all-time in ppg after Wilt and Jordan he was about to tie MJ at 30 ppg in Philadelphia but his numbers declined a bit w/ Melo cause he jacks up a lot of shots. Iverson is also tied for the most playoff ppg totals with MJ.

He is 20th in total points in leagues history. Has the best crossover ever. Plays injured and at 32 led the league in minutes played w/o any signs of falling off. Outplayed MJ in one on one games. Has the most 50 point games scored in leagues history thats crazy considering Wilt Chamberlian, MJ, etc.

Only reason why the usa won a bronze medal we lost to ******* Puerto Rico. MVP recipient, 4 scoring titles, Is always consist in apg the last couple of years he averaged 7+ apg. Led the NBA in steals on more than one occassion thats a defensive category (Kobe has never led the league in any defensive categories) yet because of his size and hype has been chosen for defensive all-teams. AI was rookie of year over Ray Allen, Stephon marbury, Kobe Bryant.

2 x Allstar MVP, 9X NBA all-star would be 11 because he was injured and couldnt play in one and he was traded midway through the allstar selections so he couldnt make the all-star western team.

Took the pathetic 76ers to Atlantic Division Titles, playoff berths, and a NBA Finals Appearance. Where he outplayed both Shaq and Kobe putting up 37.5 ppg (2 bad his team sucked)

    PG. Eric Snow - Terrible

SG. Allen Iverson - The Answer

    SF. Tyrone Hill - Sucked

    PF. George Lynch - ehhh

    C. Dikembe Mutombo - Went through aging process

    6. Aaron McKie - Won 6th Man Award all because AI mad him look good

    7. Raja Bell - Wasnt that good back then

    8. Todd MacCulloch - sucked

    9. Kevin Ollie - yikes

    10. Rodney Buford - double yikes

    11. Jumaine Jones - ehhh

    12. Matt Geiger - who?

Also he never complained about the lack of team he had he performed well and surprisd everyone beating the more talented Pacers, Raptors, and Bucks that year. He also surprised everyone by winning the first game of the series and competing against the Lakers.

The thing I like the most about him is he doesnt want to conform to what David Stern and the NBA wants hiom to be he says he doesnt want to be MJ, The Ice Man, he wants to be Allen Iverson. And he doesnt care whether anyone likes it or not.

  28. ALLEN IVERSON - because he is a great player, athletic.

DIRK NOWITZKI - a big man with a sweet touch from the outside.

KOBE BRYANT - when he learns to pass the ball.

LeBron James - he is so athletic, and so dynamic. Great highflyer and scorer.

MICHAEL JORDAN - basketball icon, basketball god.

  29. Gilbert Arenas

  30. dwyane wade because of all his crazy shots

  31. Vince "Vincanity" Carter: In his prime he could dunk over Yao Ming, and he is still a great scorer/dunker.
