Who's your favorite philosopher and one reason why?

I'm curious who everyone's favorite philosopher of all time is and just one reason why.

Jesus and then Gautama Buddha...Their philosophy has great opportunity for application. The two contain no contradictions that I have found.

Jean-Paul Sartre, the iconic Existentialist, is my favorite philosopher.  I have always been drawn to the Existentialist position that we are ultimately responsible for the choices we make in life.  There are no excuses.

in my opinion my wife is the best philosopher.

  the reason why is because she knows what is best for my life and my way of reasoning. she always has a good way of putting thing or conversation that best suite us as a couple or myself as her other half

Three way tie between Jesus, Buddha, and Lao Tzu. They all taught ways to achieve enlightenment and happiness that still hold true to this day.

Hmm, I don't know about favorite of all time because I'm just getting into studying philosophy, but my favorite for right now is Krishnamurti.  He's a fantastic read and he uses dialectic, which most modern philosophers do not do.  I also like Chuang-tzu and the Buddha.
