Who Am I---------?

I am thought by many to be the most knowledgeable cricket 'brain' in my area of operation. I am also expert in other sporting matters also, but cricket is my specialty.My name is known to people in many countries, & I have often been 'consulted' on many different aspects of the game. I originated in England last century, & am still there.Who Am I?
