Who Are Barack Obama's Prototypes?

People who share the same ideas as him, or acts like him. Just anyone. I could guess Franklin D. Roosevelt, but I would like a few other people too.

Franklin Roosevelt was a moderate democrat.

Obama is the epitomy of radical liberal.

Voted most liberal person in congress in 2007, after voting only 180 times.

Taxpayers voting for Obama is like Chickens voting for Colonel Sanders.

John F Kennedy is the obvious comparison.  General Dwight D. Eisenhower, although a staunch Republican, his Granddaughter who sort of keeps his memory, is also supporting Obama due to his recognition of fiscal responsibility.  

It is really hard to do Prototypes because different times call for different types to face different challenges.  Obviously he has some of the oratory skills and Lincoln style unity philosophy.  

Each of these men including Roosevelt shared a philosophical overall view that came from the same basic principles and ideas, had some of the same strengths but would be vastly different in the details.

Unlike Reagan and the following Presidents there was more emphasis on the Country, people who looked at the larger picture and long range consequences and tried to make wise choices.  So I am looking at character and perception not which Party or everything about the Presidents. Fiscal responsibility and the economy as well as the citizens were big concerns.  Unity etc.   But how they acheived this was different for each of them.

Without having read "The Audacity of Hope, or Dreams from My Father," I would say he has a lot in common with prior Black politicians like Shirley Chisholm, Jesse Jackson, and Carol Mosley-Braun, who occupied his Senate seat before he did. There are many similar themes in the Presidential campaign of Obama with these prior Black Presidential candidates.
