  1. None of these. I will vote libertarian because that is closest to my views on issues. I do not feel it is a wasted vote because voting for either a democrat or republican is contributing to the problem not helping to solve the problem. Although Ron Pauls views are libertarian (because he use to be one) he left the party to be more successful in his own political career and I will not reward him with my vote. I realize the current libertarian is a johnny come lately to the party but again this party represents my views and I will not sacrifice my views or votes to a party that is destroying our constitution and country in the process. Be part of the solution or part of the problem.

    Libertarian since the 70's

  2. You should check out the Nuge on CNN right now - he's point on for my opinions so far.

  3. Ron Paul dropped out dude, but I would have voted for him because he's the only candidate, and one of the very few members of congress that has actually taken a stand to protect our civil liberties.

  4. Obama- his foreign policy is the best of any of the other candidates. I never though I would live to see a debate over rather we should be diplomatic or jump into war. I never thought I would see the day that we talk about bombing Iran before we talk to them. I dont like McCain talking about fighting. Although in his speech he ment more than just war, but I dont think that Americans need to fight, we need to repair. We should be a people of reason, diplomacy, and innovation.

I also dont like the fact that McCain is already talking about the types of bills he veto from the senate because I, for once, want a president that will work with the senate, not against it.

As for everything else, honestly the president doesn't much say in anything else. I think Obama's energy solution is more of a needed long term fix, but thats more up to the senate and state governmants. Bush has given us a half a trillion deficit this year, and niether candidate really convinces me that they will fix that. Althoug, Obama wants to rase taxas for big business, which I thing needs to happen. Unless republicans have found another method of gaining revinue, we WILL need to raise taxes.

Lastly, I think the president is more of a cheerleader than an actual thinker. They rarely write their own speeches, they have a cabnit and advisers to aid them. So I want my president to do two things, listen to advisers. So like when Colen Powell told Bust that Iraq will be an easy victory, but setting up a government will be difficult, I want the president to listen. I think Obama will, though that is just a guess. And I want my president to be charismatic. I want him to inspire Americans and people abroad, I think Obama can do that.
