Question:

Who Can I go To To See What kind Of Insect is Biting Me?

I'm having like different bites all over me,some seem like mosquito bites and some seem like flea(I have a cat) or spider bites.Who can I ask what kind of bites i'm having so I can treat them?

  1. If the bites are unique in any way some doctors may know what is biting you.  You can check for fleas by taking your cat to a vet.  If you have any fleas in the house they will find there way to the cat.  Otherwise you need to find/catch what is biting you.  If you do not find insects when you first itch, it may be getting you in bed.  But some insects/spiders may bite without your feeling the bite.  It only itches later from something in the bite.  A through cleaning of the house, especially vacuum of floors and all furniture may get those unseen critters. At the same time laundry all sheets, blankets and mattress pads.   Also make sure you vacuum the mattress.


  2. If they are small, red dots where the bites are, and, or you get them frequently, especially when sleeping,  your house is infested with fleas.  Probably from the cat.  These are hard to get rid of.  Talk to an exterminator.
