Im Applying For A Job And Im Planning On E-mailing Them,

How Do I Strt the Letter ?

Dear Mr _______, (or if you don't know their name, write, "Dear Hiring Manager")

I'm writing to inquire about the ______ position.

If you know their name use it, eg "Dear Mr Smith". If you start the letter like this you need to use "Yours sincerely" at the end.

Otherwise, use "Dear Sirs", even if you don't know whether you are writing to a man or a woman. The ending for this is "Yours faithfully".

To start the actual letter, write something along the lines of:

"Dear Mr [insert name]

I am writing to apply for the [insert job title] job that was advertised in the [insert where you heard about the job], dated [insert date].

I have an interest in this area of work because [insert reasons].

I think that I would be suited to this job because [insert reasons].

I think that it all depends on the type of job that you're appplying for.

It would be better if you, yourself go and ask for the hiring manager and tell hem/her that you put out and application and that you are wondering if they have answer.

In my personal point of view i think that going personally and asking if they have an answer shows that you have an interest in the job that you applied for.
