Who Else Thought That Hannible Rising was the worst in the series and should be neglected?

I love the Hannible series, it's one of my favorite movie series that I've seen but I saw Hannible Rising last night and I was really disappointed. I thought it would be darker, I thought it would explain a bit more but really it just led me to a dead end. I would have rather left myself with that question mark at the end of Red Dragon and just ever have known because I thought it was that slow and unneccisary. What are your thoughts?

I agree 100%. "Hannibal Rising" was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. All prints of it should be buried in a landfill somewhere.
