Thinks that Global Warming is real, or not real which one? oh yeah, and why?

Fiction.  It is just the latest champion of the left. It is obvious if you consider history and think about it reasonably.

The socialist left love anything that gives them a greater degree of control over the lives of common men.

It is clear why the environmentalist movement has joined the game. They'll lift up anything that portrays man in a bad light and not a natural part of this good earth.

Consider scares of the past. There has been one after another, all proven either totally false or blown way out of proportion.

This most recent scare though has gained a foothold that is unprecedented and quite scary. The political motivations of the left, if left unchecked will change the world into a place every bit as unrecognizable as one that is ten degrees warmer.

I don’t understand why there is still a debate about whether or not global warming is “real”. The conclusion that global warming is mainly caused by human activity and will continue if greenhouse gas emissions are not reduced has been endorsed by at least 30 scientific societies and academies of science, including all of the national academies of science of the major industrialized countries. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a “greenhouse gas.” It absorbs energy from the Sun and then releases it back into the atmosphere. This greenhouse effect  keeps the Earth warmer than it would if this process did not occur. There is a close correspondence between average global temperature and CO2 concentration. Human activity causes more CO2 to be released into the environment. Throughout most of the past 425,000 years the concentration of CO2 has ranged between 180 and 280 parts per million (ppm). Currently, CO2 concentrations are at approximately 380 ppm. We are 100 ppm over the highest CO2 concentration in 425,000 years of history! If this fact alone won’t make you step up and face reality, I don’t know what will. It’s not a political debate, it’s scientific fact.I am scared about my children's future because so many ignorant people out there think this is all a big joke.

There needs to be an interval of time given.  Global temperatures fluctuate daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, decadal, etc.  For the last 10,000 years we have warmed.  In the last 5,000,000 years, we have cooled.  In the last 10 years, perhaps we have cooled.   We are in a very warm period much to our great fortune.   Harmful human caused global warming is a myth.  It is more about a political movement that wants to tell you how bad everything is.  In reality, they refuse to look at any obvious benefits.  The actual cause of warming is unknown in spite of the rhetoric from the political left.

ITS REAL!!!!!!!!!!

If u believe its natural for the earth to warm up and cool down again (cycle) yes its true but we have gone beyond the cycle and the cycle is also fairly consistent, but we have sped it up allot faster than it has ever gone.

Its like talking about the menstrual cycle, normally it takes 28 days between each period(natural planet cycle), now with human interaction it will take 2 days between each period(human affect on natural planet cycle)

Well here is the deal, I live in Iowa and we just had the coldest winter ever, so it is hard to say the globe is warming up.  There are changes occurring that many neigh-sayers are indicating will doom us all, but how do we know the exact same thing did not happen 2,000,000 years ago?  We should all be conscientious of pollution and conserving resources, but if someone becomes obsessed with this threat, they would not be able to sleep at night.

EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that this is real, and mostly caused by us.  The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

Global climate change is the more accepted scientific term for it nowadays, and I know it is real.

The planet's temperature and CO2 levels coincide exactly on a diagram seen in An Inconvenient Truth..and guess what? They're both rising.

Not to mention the strange weather patterns, animals migrating our of season, plants blooming out of season...it's happening.

Oh, and the bees dying...but that's probably pesticides.
