First of all, Gary Neville isn't anywhere near the best player.

Secondly, the greatest United legend I remember is George Best. I was only alive to see the end of his career, but what people have told me tells me that he's the greatest United player ever.

ok ok ok - giggs is pretty much one of the most decorated players in the history of football not only man utd so i cant argue with that. scholes has been a great server of the club. scholes the same, along with neville.

cantona was possibly the most exciting player and ronaldo the most skillful but neither of these are the best player; cantona never lifted anything above a premier league trophy (i know there were 4 but still...) and ronaldo has only been at Utd for a short time to be called the best player ever!!

solksjaer, robson, schmeichel were great servents to the club through great times but these are not the greatest either.

beckham and nistlerooy also great players during successful times but again, not the best.

When you start looking further back you start to find legends...... the duncan edwards, nobby stiles, denis law and bobby charlton.  all these arguable "legends" but the best player ever??? got to be george best and the worst thing is if he'd cared more and not pissed most of it away; he could of been "the greatest player the world has ever seen".

I can't believe you didnt even list George Best in your top 12????  I'm a spurs fan and totally stunned............
