  15. of course sachin is the best batsman in the history of cricket.he is our legend.the little master, the master blaster, the meastro

  16. Jaques Kallis is worth a spot in the top ten, apparently Don Bradman was way ahead in his time his average is unthinkable in mordern times, i just wonder how great he would have been had he been playing in the morden era, nonetheless i dont think you can really compare players in different eras of cricket history.

  17. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

  18. Tendulkar & Bradman.

  19. The incomparable Sir Donald Bradman. A Test average of 99.94, first class average of 95.14, 26 centuries in only 52 Test matches, all against powerful bowling attacks batting on treacherous uncovered wickets. And he lost 6 years in his prime due to World War Two. 304 runs in just one day of the highest quality cricket. Came back from a life threating appendix operation in the middle of his career and somehow managed to average 56 in the Bodyline seies. There will never be another cricketer of the calibre of The Don, ever.

  20. Donald Bradman

Edit: Charliman, then why do you stick your nose in this section where it isn't wanted? This section is for all countries, you Americans don't have sole rights! Bug off!!!

  21. Sir Donald Bradman of Australia is without a doubt, the greatest batsman who ever lived and the greatest cricketer of the 20th century. Only WG Grace, in the formative years of the game, even remotely matched his status as a player. Throughout the 1930s and '40s Bradman was the world's master cricketer, so far ahead of everyone else that comparisons became pointless. He needed just 4 runs in his last Test innings at The Oval in 1948 to ensure a Test average of 100 - but was out second ball for 0, a rare moment of human failing that only added to his everlasting appeal. Bradman made all his runs at high speed in a manner that bewildered opponents and entranced spectators. Though his batting was not classically beautiful, it was always awesome!  :)

  22. don bradman as if we see the average than he has got 99.20 more than sachin and any other.

  23. A batsman in the sport of cricket is, depending on context:

        * Any player in the act of batting.

        * A player whose specialty in the game is batting.

  24. In TEST its DON BRADMEN

    In ODI its  SACHIN TENDULKAR

Other leading batsmen are Lara, Ponting, Dravid and Kallis

  25. 'The Don', Sir Donald Bradman.

By a long way over anyone else - he was at least 40% better than anyone ever has been.

Like I have said before, if you took best of any other sport:

Michael Jordan from basketball, Babe Ruth from Baseball, Pale from Soccer and Tiger from Golf, to name a few, and made their stats 40% better than the next best in their chosen sport, you would now have a sportsman that compares to Bradman.

But they are not and you can't, so don't!!

There simply is or has ever been anyone as good, in any sport, as Bradman.

  26. Sir Don Bradman averaged 99.

  27. Sir Donald Bradman is the greatest and best batsman in the history of cricket.

  28. Bradman in Tests

    Tendulkar in ODI

    Lara as both.

    To Bethanie W - WTF

  29. Sir Donald Bradman is at number one position then Sir Garfield Sobers, then perhaps Sachin but it's debatable. His current ranking should be considered because he is still playing and not so great one must add.
