  1. Ali without a doubt was the greatest heavyweight I've ever seen.

I have many favorites in different weight classes, Sugar Ray for instance at times seem to do the impossible.

  2. walker smith jr, aka sugar ray robinson.

he went 40-0 before losing his first fight (to jake lamotta, who outweighed him by 16 pounds), and then to 128-1-2 before losing again (having only fought 9 days before).

robinson won the welterweight and middleweight titles, (the 160 pound belt 5 times) and almost won the light heavy title too.

he could box, punch, ko an opponent going backward, dance, attack, slip, and he would attract great crowds just to  see him skip rope.

  3. I don't think there is one G.O.A.T in boxing. i think there is one for every generation because they einfluence the new breed. I would say there are 6 G.O.A.Ts out there in the history.

1Jack Johnson. he inspired how many black boxers by being the first black heavyweight. if he never was, would there be a joe louis or ali?

    2. Jack Dempsey. He was the first cross over champion to reach celebrity status, and make a boxer more than a lug. granted he didn't inspire any change in skill he did change the face of the character for boxing.

    3. Sugar Ray Robinson. The epitome of a champion with both skill and ability that really hasn't come close to being by any other fighter. he s the inspiration for leonard, mosely, mayweather, hearns, ali, and every one that has come aftr him.

4.Roberto Duran. He was the gladiator of fighters and enjoyed combat. he reminds me so much of the imagination you would get from a boxer. think of the greco-roman fighters.

    5. Ali. flashly. civic rights activist, part promoter part entertainer, victim of the times, inspiration to future champions of the world, a big loud mouth that could actually back it up. he made boxing fans out of coming day people.

    6. Oscar Delahoya. name one fighter that was able to make a transition from fighter to promoter better than him. granted his skills were the best but he is the most marketable boxer of all time. tyson was good during his time but oscar can sell a fighte without theathrics or controversy. he is the next step in the boxing game from fither/businessman and we will see more of his kind.

  4. if you want to know who was the best at the sport of boxing probably Ali. I am basing that on alot of online fights i've watched of some of the greatest.

If you want to know who I think would win of all heavyweights in their prime , if you told them " you have 2 minutes to try to knock this guy out and whoever is left standing that throws the most punches wins" I think Tyson

best over all pound for pound sugar ray robinson

  5.   If someone were to ask people around the world to name a Boxing Legend, U can most surely bet that the name Muhammad Ali would be the the name most mentioned. Not only was he the most talented boxer but his humanity was equally as impressive. Boxing has seen nothing like him before or since. If your money was riding on the GREATEST OF ALL TIME asked around the globe, WHO would U put it on? I think that answers the question.
