Question:

Who Is To Blame For Drugs? Mexico Or The U.S.?

I'm asking because I always hear Lou Dobbs and others blaming Mexico for the drugs coming from the border. But aren't Americans the biggest drug users? If there wasn't such a big demand here, would there be such a big supply?

  1. cut off the demand and there will be nothing to supply.

it's the $$$ that encourages the traffic.

  2. why are you always bitchin and blaming the mexicans for all youre problems you should be blaming youre government for not stoping these problems i live here in vegas and i dont like that theres alot of drug sellers but hey i see on the mexican news all the time that theyre catching alot of drug lords and tons and tons of drugs but never have i seen here in the news that they catch any drug lords or drugs

  3. mexico.

  4. USA. Only the USA

  5. If the USA wanted to stop drugs it could.  Just make a kilo of hard drugs a mandatory executable offense or life sentence without parole depending on how much you had in your possession.  Sooner or later we would run out of scumbags willing to take the chance.  A family friend in the DEA said the public would be very surprised where the drug trail leads.  And because of this, no real legislation will be enacted.

  6. Both countries are to blame.

  7. blame the cubians.

  8. Most drug addicts are Americans.

  9. Afghanistan is the first World producer and exporter of Heroin since the US lead invasion.Another US protectorate , Kosovo, is the gate for the introduction of Heroin to Europe.

Is obvious that US `DEA is involved in the drug traffic all over the World. The role of US DEA is just to prevent an overproduction of drugs to keep the price up.Drugs deals are the way US Covert ops are financed.

Just consider that the only US allie in Latam is Colombia, a country ruled by a Drug lord.Other US friends : Noriega( Panama),Stroessner ( Paraguay), Meza ( Bolivia)...

  10. Both coz it takes them working together to get it done.

  11. It is the law of supply and demand.

Once a person is hooked on drugs. He does not care how the drug gets here. All the addict is interested in is how and where to get his next fix...

  12. i think it can be blamed equally on both of them....on america for doing so little to treat drug users and for not trying harder to stop drugs from entering and on mexico for their government allowing drug traffickers to travel unmolested back and forth across the border.....if someone is going to lay blame on someones door step for the drug trade...there is more than enough to go around.

  13. blame the drug addicts!!!!! because thats what it all cones down to, if there was no huge demand here in the US there wouldnt be a problem, but unfortunately thats not the case and drugs and immigrants are still going to come flooding into the US no matter what

  14. both if Mexican government wasn't so corrupt they could crack down, but yes many users are in the USA.

  15. we are both to blame, we are the users they are the providers.  BUT if we do tighten up border security, it could cut down on the supply.

  16. I would say it's Americas fault for not stopping the drug trade just as much as Mexico's fault for bringing the drugs. I'd say it's about 50/50.

  17. Both. One sells them, the other buys them, and snorts them. Those are the simple facts. If the Marketer has no Market, the can't sell their product.

It is the responsibility of a parent to teach, and watch out for their children, so if they stop, children grow up to do drugs, and continue, unless they find another avenue.

  18. Columbia is where the majority of the cocaine is from. The Mexicans are just trying to make money. The Americans are one of the largest consumers of illegal drugs..we all are to blame.

  19. Blame mexico for everything/all illegal activities in the U.S.

  20. Plenty of blame to go around.

YOu should hear how much Mexico blames US for the destruction of their country from the drug trade.
