Tony Gervaise is the new Academy Director as of July 2008, after the departure of Emma Hayes who had been in the post for 2 years. Tony was previously the Scottish FA Head of Youth Development in ladies football. He was responsible for the development and implementation of an elite player pathway in Scotland, thus enabling the most talented players to reach their full potential. A position he held from 2004, he was also head coach for the Scotland U15, U17 and U19 national squads and was responsible for all technical aspects of international matches and UEFA competitions. Tony, who holds the UEFA ‘Pro’ License Diploma, takes over as Academy Director, and ALFC Reserve Team Manager.
