Question:

Who Likes My Name For a Baby Girl?

I'm due Dec. 1, 2008 and we've decided on the name Lairen Elizabeth for our baby girl. I know the spelling is kind of weird. (Please don't make fun, like Larengitis) lol. Anybody like this name? Maybe some more unique, but not too strange names you guys can think of?

  1. It's pretty! Looks really classy, congrats and good luck :)

  2. I like it alot. I love the name Elizabeth, and Lairen is interesting...I like it. Cute name.

  3. I like it a lot, but maybe Lauraine? (Lor-aine)

  4. Larren

    Larryn

    Lairren

or something like that, because I think if you only use 1 R you run the risk of people pronouncing it lie-ren

It is a really cute name!!

My favorite unique girls name, however, is Kennedy

  5. that's a pretty name

  6. i think that i like Lauren more

  7. I didn't think of Larengitis...I thought  of the Larynx. Sorry. It is rather odd. I really like Loraine though. Lairen is just a little not-a-name-just-a-made-up-word sounding.

  8. I dont think so, people will end up calling her Larry

Someone once had a girl named  Cielowin( See-ell-o-wen)

    Good luck and congrats!

  9. I like it!

  10. it would sound better if it was lauren elizibeth but lairen is still beutiful and unique

  11. thts a really pretty name, your little girl will love it when shes old enough to appreciate it

  12. I don't particularly care for it.  What about Lauren Elizabeth?

  13. Great you have come up with an original first name, don't go with the masses and change it to Lauren that is too popular.

    Good Luck

I do not think people will come up with larengitis that word is to long.

She will probably have to tell everyone how to say her name and that is fine.  It is a conversation starter and everyone will get to hear her voice.

  14. While most of us on here won't make laryngitis jokes, I don't think that the kids at school will be so kind to your daughter.

What about Lorraine, Laurine, Liron (Hebrew name meaning "my joy"), or Lorena?

  15. its a very pretty name especially the Elizabeth part i always loved that name

  16. wow i have never heard that and i totaly love it !!! I would name my  daughter that!!!
