  1. You should call 813-655-0910.  The agent has 7 different home insurance companies he writes through.  Citizens is one of them but unless your home is really old I would not recommend going with them.  All of the companies he writes through are A-rated companies with Demotech.  They have not been around long enough to be rated with AM Best.  Citizens is not your only option unless you have a state farm agent!

  2. see this http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html take the quote, they'll come back with prices from different insurers in your area. It's very quick and free of charge.

  3. I have met this kind of situation before, here is the place I found useful.http://insurance.free-onlinetip.info/ins...

  4. You're asking the wrong question.   Your REAL question is, will ANY rated insurance company write my place in Florida.

The answer is, CITIZENS is the ONLY insurer, rated by AM Best, currently writing new homeowners policies.  There are a couple new outfits, but the financials I've looked at show they only have reserves to pay for the first 500 houses.  I would NEVER recommend going with an unrated carrier.

And, "low price" and "Florida homeowners" are two phrases that do NOT go together.   Florida has the highest homeowners rates in the nation.  Because they have the highest claims in the nation.  If you've got ANYONE willing to write it, go with them.  Any local agent, should be able to place coverage on this, through Citizens - the state fund.

  5. I recommend you visit a nearby car insurance agent to assist you. Since I live in Kentucky I can't recommend an agent in Florida, but here is an resource that can help you. http://www.usinsuranceadvisor.com/Auto-I...

    Good Luck.

  6. Try any of the big companies.   Look around for a good insurance agent.  But your auto insurance and home in the same company so you get discounts on both.
