Who Should I Start at Runningback?

I have to agree with Kingkong you go with the SURE fire guys which are Lynch, Jones and Forte until you see something different from the other two. McFadden lets face it is full of hype on a bad team with a rookie QB so they will stack the box so look out and Williams will be splitting carries with Ronnie Brown until his leg falls off midseason and Williams takes over.

Here are some third-party rankings from footballguys.com, and I'll add my spin.  This assumes standard, not PPR format:

Lynch -#8

Williams -#15

McFadden -21

Jones - #22

Forte - #30

Whether it is PPR format or not, I often prefer to have better pass-catching backs in play.

Personally, despite the rankings, I'm not sold on Ricky Williams.  I would play Lynch, McFadden and Jones.

For McFadden, hope that the rebuilt Denver line is still soft.  Jones could see some improved numbers by virtue of Favre.

Always a crapshoot Week 1, but there you have it.  Good luck!

EDIT: Respectfully, Forte is also RBBC.  Lovie Smith has indicated he'll use Adrian Peterson and Garrett Wolfe in addition to Forte.  Forte is an unproven as McFadden, and is facing a much better run-stuffing defense.

i dont want to mess you up but who are these rb matching up against on defense....is that team really good or just average.... it is all situational.
