Who Thinks Proactiv medication is overrated?

Question

People say that Proactiv acne medication works the best (NOT!) I know other acne meds that work better than that d**n Proactiv. Who think's Proactiv is overrated?

Never tried it. Figured it'd be easier and cheaper to just change my diet.

The way they advertise Proactiv is one reason I'd never use it. Same goes for the other products.

proactiv suck i used it a couple years ago and it made me break out more it got worst and i didnt even have bad acne i use st ives aproict scrub i think that works the best for me

I tried it and it sucked the monkey's sack.

I went on a drug called accutane and its truly amazing I don't know why everyone doesn't use it. after a month your face is completely clear forever pretty much.

YES IT IS!!!! I TRIED IT AND IT MADE MY ACNE WORSE OR IT DIDN'T WORK AND MY ACNE GOT WORSE. ONE OF THE TWO BUT I KNOW IT SUCKS!

I tried it and it worked for me. The problem is you have to continue using it to continue seeing results and it is way too expensive. I found that just following a regular routine of cleansing, tone and moisturize twice a day with a good but cheap product then I get the same results.

i totally agree..proactiv sucks...i dont know anyone that has tried it and liked it...everyone i kno that has tried it has gotton horrible rashes and thrown it away!

Proactiv is deff. overrated.

I so do. My brother used that stuff and it works terribly. No acne medication can work overnight or in 3 days. All acne medications take at least 6 weeks to work. Proactive is a load of c**p. I use neutrogena foaming face wash and benzaclin and my skin is perfect.

I think its way overrated....the cleanser works okay at best...the toner makes me itch, and the lotion makes me turn red

it's way overrated, if it's so good then why isn't it available in stores?

proactiv is way overrated. If you look at the ingredient list you can find generic drugstore brand products that work just as well for about 1/4 the price. The only problem is that you have to actually buy the product to get the ingredient list.
