I was talking to a guy from America the other day on my PS3 and, god knows how, we started talking about WWTBAM (whilst shooting some terrorists) and we had a short arguement as to which country the show originated it. please think before you answers and don't just type "ENGLAND!!!!!!" or "U-S-A! U-S-A!"

  1. The United Kingdom

  2. OK I'm thinking... Britain.

I don't get what more of an answer you want... It first aired on the 4 September 1998 on ITV hosted by Chris Tarrant. It is now owned by British company Celador aka 2waytraffic.

  3. quote from website "London-based Celador, which invented Who Wants to be a Millionaire, has sold the format in 30 countries - generally as a direct copy rather than an adaptation of the original."

  4. UK
