In motoring terms, propane is referred to as either LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) or Autogas.  There are lots of garages doing conversions, but make sure you go to an approved fitter.

Prins fuel systems (prins-lpg.com) or Impco Technologies (www.impco.ws) are probably two of the best systems out there for LP conversions. Their websites both have listings for distributors of their product who should be able to hook you up with a conversion dealer near you.

Vegetable oil works (more or less) with diesel engines. Gasoline engines can be converted to run on propane. The Yahoo search engine is your friend.
