In other words the invention of the first car were realy by the scotts as it looks like we will be headed back that way via solar or electric. Time will tell.

I think it will probably be a Chinese company where big oil cant buy politicians or auto executives.

Toyota was pretty quick off the blocks with the hybrid, and the electric is just one step beyond that. If I had to choose a major manufacturer, it'd be them.

I doubt that there will ever be any mass produced electric cars on Antarctica, so the correct answer is no one.
