obviesly the dockers had a great plan going into there game but unfortunently couldnt win... great work to stick around and only lose by a point though... dont ask how they did it... but if theres an upset it would be either the bulldogs, hawks or collingwood because these 3 teams play a similar game to geelong and play a fast game at that... and they have the stength and abilty to have a good chance...HAVE YOU SAY

  1. hawthorn of course we are the best team

  2. Hawthorn are defiantly a strong chance to beat geelong i just think they are faster and better and very exciting.

  3. Don't know.

But someone, out of the blue will give them a flogging. Fremantle were unlucky not to do so.

Geelong don't travel interstate all that flash.

  4. North Melbourne, Just like last year.

  5. The Hawks will smash them.  (Pity we have to wait to Round 17 to see them play)  The Crows could beat them, diddo the Doggies.

  6. Hawks

  7. geelong wont lose a game

    so nobody

  8. Hawthorn

  9. Hawthorn or possibly Adelaide

  10. From my avatar, you can see where I stand on the footy.

It will happen, maybe not Hawthorn or my most despised team in the AFL, Footscray (I know they are Western, but so what). Geelong will not go 22-0 before the finals. This match coming this weekend at the G is a concern, remember what happened to Tony Hall of Hawthorn in State of Origin? Ripped his knee, I don't want to curse anybody, but a dreadful injury will probably happen to at least one player next Saturday night at the G.

A major injury will change the season, I just hope it doesn't happen and if it does, not to any of the Geelong boys.

Geelong will not go undefeated, I don't think Hawthorn will either. Season is just too long not to have an off day that you cannot recover from in the 4Q.

  11. I think the only team at the moment is Hawthorn...

  12. Brad

With the combination of talent, good luck re injury and a can-do attitude, which won them the flag in 2007, I reckon the only team that can beat Geelong is Geelong itself.

They seem to be level headed lads. So they possibly WON'T start believing their own PR - that they can leap tall buildings with a single bound, etc - which is the way Essendon came unstuck against the Bulldogs in 2000, for example.

The Catz could go without a loss for 2008. If they approach each game as if they DON'T have a perfect record!

  13. Hawthorn can beat them because the can keep up with them for the whole game

Sydney could beat them as they would play man on man footy and not give them an inch.

  14. I think possibly Hawthorn on form or Adelaide, you would have to shut down their (Geelong) midfield

  15. It could be anyone. Geelong aren't playing very good footy at the moment. They have Richmond and Pies the next 2 weeks, they could lose either of them, probably not both though. If Pies get their act together they could beat Cats, the way they're playing now. Richmond have been playing well in the last few weeks, so they're also a chance.

When you look at the teams Cats have played, only two are in the top 8, Sydney and St.Kilda. They have played 4 teams in the bottom five of the ladder.

  16. Hawthorn at trhis stage.

Western Bulldogs have the run to push the Cats. I'd never give Collingwood a chance as they always seem to fold when the going gets tough.
