**I would love to see Gary Ablett Jnr win the Brownlow Medal this year but I'm starting to wonder if his three weeks out with injury may have hurt his chances.  If he plays really well in the remaining three games then hopefully that'll get him right back up there as a great chance of winning.

If Gary doesn't win though I could see Jimmy Bartel or even Joel Corey winning one.  I know I'm sticking with Geelong players but those three boys have all had a great season and are a good chance.  One thing that might affect one of those three players winning the Brownlow is if they take votes off each other.**

I think - among with many others - that Gary Ablett Jnr. has got it in the bag, but I wouldn't be surprised if Joel Selwood and Chris Judd make a late surge - the only problem with Joel Selwood would be that Geelong players this year have the tendency to steal votes from each other - thats why their has been doubt about Gary Ablett Jnr. but he will win it.

Anyway, whoever wins it wont feel much pride in the award, as it is only an old Victorian award, carried on from past days.

It should be renamed the Australian Medal, as after all, it is now an Australian sport - not just a Victorian competition.

I hope Jimmy Bartel I think he has been in awesome form over the past couple of weeks, but I think that when Ablett comes back that he might take a few votes from him! I really hope Jimmy though!

Gary ablett before he got injured, but bartel is my big tip now. bartel is playing at the top of his game while ablett is out.ablett was going to but now it has really changed my mine.ablett was 10/10 form
