Who Would Win this fight (Greatest Fight of All Time)

Question

Andreson Silva vs. Cung Le. The two top middleweights in the world. Two most feared strikers. both champions. but i think i would have to go with silva just because he has awesome ground skills and beat an olympian in dan henderson. but cung le has excellant takedowns and takedown defense

Cung Le is NOT a top middleweight. He's beaten one former great in Frank Shamrock and a few other journeymen. He was fairly impressive against Shamrock but was rocked in the round prior to Frank withdrawing. I can imagine a much better striker like Silva would punish him severely for making such a mistake. His punches aren't nearly as crisp as his kicks, and Silva has both good kicks and punches.

Anderson Silva only because he has better BJJ then Cung.  But as a stand up fight I would give it to Cung only because his San Shou Abilities (Strikes, Defense, Throws)  are far greater.  To put a great Muay Thai fighter against a San Shou fighter, style vs. style makes an exciting stand up fight. And San Shou has been known to be the conflicting style when up against Muay Thai thats why its been called the "Muay Thai Killer."

Silva is proven but for some reason Cung Le's strikes(kicks) look my devastating.  He has the potential to hurt to lanky Brazilian. But of course Silva is the man and one would have to go with him.  Still would be cool to see how that one would go down.

so far, cung le has been dominating fights. i wouldn't be surprised if he wins again. but then this maybe a better fight than shamrock v. le.

GREAT QUESTION. i am a huge fan of both fighters, but i have to give it to silva.  le is still pretty young in the sport and still needs to work on his all around game. look at what silva did to hendo, franklin and one of the best grapplers in the sport, nate marquadt. they are all well rounded fighters and he beat them all easily. now my question is who would win between chung le vs. lyota machida? now that would be a great fight.

I would LOVE to see this fight it would be great!!!

I would have to go with Anderson Silva based on more exerience in mma and the fact that his ground game had been tried and proven. He has also fought many more top level opponenets than Cung Le has. I love to watch both of these guys fight and would most likely be salivating during the introductions straight on through to the end of the fight.
