It's True They Give Out false Information such as

Upperdeck says That If a Magic Or trap Card Is destroyed By And Card That does Not say Negate The effect The Effect Still activates

No,no,no You See Negate And destroy Means It Is Treated As If It Were Destroyed While Face Down So any Cards That Gian Spell counter When Magic Or traps Are Activated Such Skilled Dark magician Do Not gain a spell Counter For the card

2:Upperdeck Says That Ritual Monster Cannot Be Brought BAck

Extremely Wrong Under any Circumstance (Since Some People Belive It HAs To Be Ritual summoned First) If A Ritual Monster Was Sent to The graveyard It Can Be Brough Back by Monster reborn

If You Know Of Any Other False Info Please Tell Me

  1. calm down, it happens. most of us are amateur players. i try to check the upperdeck individual rulings as much as possible, but some stuff just isnt there. a lot of it just has to be your interpretation. i suggest you stop complaining and post on the upperdeck forums from now on. there is no way to be 100% on everything. if you get so offended from misinterpretation then dont even ask here. get a judge to tell you the answer on the official forum.

also whats up with your capitals? kinda weird

  2. 1. Negate and destroy are two entirely different things. Each card has an effect built in to it. If you want to negate the the effect AND the card itself, I suggest you look into learning how to use Counter Traps

P.S. Skilled Dark Magician WILL gain a counter if the effect resolves, if the effect is negated, he will NOT gain a counter.

    2. Ritual monsters can be brought back, but they must've been PROPERLY special summoned by using the ritual spell card first.

    3. Learn to type like a human and use punctuations.

  3. Um.... You are taking a lot of the rules out of context buddy. Your first little rant is wrong, if it doesn't say negate then the effect goes off, that's like using MST on a heavy storm, the magic and trap cards are still destroyed cause the effect still happens. Then for number two, that's not exactly what it says, rituals can't be brought back unless they were summoned properly first, ok. So just learn to follow the rules, they all make sense.

  4. Took me 5 min to understand what you typed.

1st. Unless an effect is NEGATED, it resolves in the chain.

2nd. When a spell is NEGATED, you can take it that it NEVER activated, thus you will no get a counter.

3rd. UDE never mentioned anything about a ritual monster not being able to be brought back, but they said that its summoning conditions must be fulfilled first, before you special summon it from the graveyard.

4th. Learn to type properly, and stop blaming UDE for the pathetic errors that YOU make due to your lack of ABILITY to comprehend the effects of the cards.

    2nd EDIT:

Please do LEARN how to type like a human as mentioned above, and Not LikE ThIS, "I CanT TyPe FfS!"

Now, learn to STUDY chains before you talk. As a level 1 JUDGE, as compared to a pathetic casual player, we can read the effects and actually understand how it resolves, which is FAR beyond the capacity of your puny brain.

Now, the EMPHASIS is on you. The RULINGS have been explained, and therefore you do NOT have a right to argue as it is at UDE's discretion to judge how a chain resolves. You do not argue, as Konami has done equally idiotic stuff, as to releasing the Dark Armed Dragon as OCG RARES. There is a TEAM of experts who actually try to make this game better, and with unappreciative SLACKERS and WHINERS like you, it makes what they toil on in VAIN as there are still people who can't SpElL PrOpErLy and yet tries to argue like a FiRsT-GrAdEr.

FFS. Keep that in mind. Stop complaining. If you think you are so good, BUY THE COMPANY AND RUN IT YOURSELF. I'd like to see you fall.

EDIT: @Kenneth- There is difference in Rulings, like Elemental hero rampart blaster's direct attack issue. check it out.

Back to the topic. Do NOT question the professionalism of the companies, as you would not have acheived anything near moderately decent speech and text. Then, you say that Kazuki Takahashi, the one that brought Yu-Gi-Oh to life, told you those stuff. Firstly, NONE of the rulings are wrong, it is your under grown brain that cannot comprehend the functions and workings of a SIMPLE chain.

Secondly, they exactly stack with each other and are correct. If I destroy your quick-play spell/trap card while it is face down, it is NOT negated, and CAN be activated in response to a chain, WHICH IS WHAT WE EMPHASIZE ABOUT AND WHAT YOU CAN NEVER UNDERSTAND. Then, if AND ONLY if the effect of a spell resolves, it can be added as a counter to Skilled Dark Magician, yet another piece of evidence that you either have no brain or it is of size comparable to that of bacterium. Then, Ritual Monsters can be Summoned from the Graveyard, but only IF you activate the corresponding ritual spell first, if you even know what that is, and thus fulfilling the summoning requirements.

Maybe I should add this, if you do not know the difference between NEGATE and DESTROY, READ BELOW.

NEGATE = After a spell/trap activation, and it is NEGATED, you can TAKE IT as it NEVER activated in the first place.

DESTROY = If you DESTROY a spell/trap card, it can still be CHAINED to YOUR EFFECT if the speed is sufficient.

So much about professionalism. Think not about it as it is nothing you can ever achieve.

  5. Whoa quite an opinion. I would totally disagree. I believe that if you're going to get into a hobby then you'll have to give up another past time for it. I myself have given up on video games in order to get back into yugioh.

I think wasting your money on it totally depends on your situation. I only buy what I need and never what I know I wont need. I usually dont buy boosters and dont even bother to care about expensive cards that I know I wont be able to use. Right now I'm only focusing on my Dark Deck and Light Deck. Total investment is around 300. Thats enough for a Wii or almost a PS3. Which I probably would have wasted on if I wasn't into yugioh. I also always save my money and make sure to retire enough for what I'll spend on it this week or this month for my personal expenses and hobby expenses. The 300 I've spent was a total of 3 months of investments so 100 each month.

Anyway on to the topic... IDK I personally know a judge who works for UDE. I've played with him two times already with the times he's hanged out with me and my friends. He seems to know his knowledge quite well. Its funny since it's 14 friends now that play this weekly and from the 14, 2 know people externally. 1 knows a judge and hobby store owner and another is best buds with 2 guys that play on Regionals etc. We keep getting newer people each week with different surprises.

  6. okay, firstly, the whole spell counter issue, makes you sound like an ignoramus, the chain would not have resolved by that time, and the spell card would have been removed from the field, entirely, and treated as if it was never activated

secondly, the monster has to have been successfully ritual summoned first in order for it to be special summoned from the grave. you can reborn the ritual monster, so long as it was properly ritual summoned in the first place.

and to get to the lower half of your question

negating does not flip if back face down, it removes its effect from the table, think of the chain as two different chains with two layers, the top layer will be figurative effects, the lower layer will be the actual card. say player A activates MST to break a set solemn judgement, and it's flipped and activated against said mst. judge's top layer link 2 will remove the top layer link 1 of mst from the table, treating it as if it was never there, and it will also directly remove the face-up bottom layer link 1 mst and put it into the graveyard, treating it as if it was never activated. finally, the bottom level link 2 solemn will go to the grave

and the special ritual spell will supersede the text on the ritual monster, and will ritual summon the monster. (the wording on both parts is <within the reason of japanese game terminology> the same)

and also, upper deck IS the party that creates the rules for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Konami makes the YU-GI-OH!: Duel Monsters Official Card Game, which, so long as you are playing with yugioh card printed in the english, french, german, italian, or spanish, it is treated as a different game than the cards printed in japanese or korean. but more or less, all of the rules and card rulings are identical to each other, and, as someone who has played the game in japan, among tournament competitors, can honestly tell you that THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE RULES MADE BY UPPER DECK AND THE RULES MADE BY KONAMI, and you can call konami and ask them about your questions, and they'll tell you the same thing i did

EDIT: if professionals are idiots, then how could i so eloquently write this rebuttal to your apology?

EDIT #2  OMFG THIS IS HILARIOUS!!!!!! Kazuki Takahashi only developed simple rules for the yu-gi-oh manga, and only gives ideas for card effects, and makes the art that's sketched out for him by Konami's R&D team

and no one man can be named for the creation of the rules, as it was a TEAM of people who never receive credit for their hard work

don't talk about what you don't know

  7. Can't read a thing ^^

  8. i cant read what you have wrote,so i think your the idoit

  9. This may not be the answer you are looking for (and you may not like what I think), and of course, this is only my opinion

When the whole Yu-Gi-Oh, craze started, my brother was really into it (still is I think), so he would always beg my mother to buy the cards for him, and I would always hate it when she said yes, and sometimes I would give him a dirty look when he would eyeball the cards, the following reasons are why I couldn't/can't stand those cards

    1. waste of money-the money spent on those cards could of went to a better cause, what the money would be better spent on differs on occasion, but still better spent somewhere else

    2. mess-of course this dosen't go for everyone, and a lot of players do keep their cards in card collection binders, but in my brother's case, they usually end up on the floor, in random drawrs, everywhere

    3. extras-first it's the cards, then it's the duel disk, that other duel disk thing, a duel disk with a more rounded look, etc., then it ends up that all the merchandise together has the possibility to take up the size of a fairly large room

    4. movies/TV shows-I must admit the movie was quite good, but the TV shows and everything else I found as a waste of airtime (and a waste of space on my DVR)

So to the point, I don't think they are idiots, but I think that not only upperdeck card pros, but even the konomi pros (that was the brand of the original cards, right?), should at least find another topic to be "pro" at
