Question:

Who agrees that Nadal has a tougher draw at Wimbledon?

There was talk at the beginning of Wimbledon that Federer has a tough draw. What tough draw? The only threat to him was Novak(who's out)and the Serb, for all his talent, can be erratic - for example his very poor performance at Master's Cup last year and his mediocre showing against Safin. 3rd round opponent for Roger? - Marc Gicquel (give me a break!). Who's Rafa playing? - Kiefer, a former top 5 player. Roger could face Hewitt in the 4th, who is playing with a hip injury and who hasn't beaten Federer in ages. Rafa could play Stepanek who has beaten Federer in Rome and who has an effective serve and volley game. In the quarters Roger could face Ferrer (lol he killed him in Shanghai). Nadal could play Murray, who also beat Federer this year in Dubai. Federer's draw is certainly easier. Last year, Nadal was not treated fairly, being made to play almost everyday until his knee gave out towards the end of his final match. He must have been dead tired, yet still took it to 5 sets.

  1. I don't. He was about to face Djokovic, who knew that Djokovic will play so poor vs Safin, he played great at Queens. That alone is a tough draw. Murray lol give me a break..Nadal will crush him with 3-0. And besides who beat who in the past doesn't really matter, every match is a new. Also Federer has Safin now, and if Safin plays as well as he did vs Djokovic he will be the biggest threat to both of them.  So no, I think Federer's draw is much easier than Nadal's.

Seriously this question cames up every time, they should put them on the same side of a draw. ...h**l make them play at the 1st round so you guys can be happy.

  2. I don't.we can't say that Stepanek and Murray are so better than Hewitt & Kiefer.because of beating Federer 4 1time.

in Dubai roger was ill and that's why he couldn't win and played badly.in Rome roger lost 6-7,6-7 that shows his bad luck and making alot of unforced errors.

when the draws were announced everyone said that roger's draw is so harder but because Novak lost and Rafa lost a set in his last match now some people say rafa's draw is harder.

Stepanek and Murray haven't beat Nadal yet.so ........................

  3. I think it really doesn't matter.  Still you need to play 7 matches to win the title.  As long as you haven't play the match, it's only paper talk in who's the favourite.  Nadal has the harder draw in French Open compare to Federer as all the top clay courter is in his half of the draw but still he won the title with his top form.  To become a champion, you need to beat anyone standing in front of you, no matter who it is.  Don't you all agree?

  4. Get lost you. Rafa couldn't wwin in straight sets against a bloke called Gulbis! By his standards, the draw is tough for him. But if Federer had the same draw, he would have brushed everyone aside.

Rafa is hopeless on grass. It's gonna be Roger again, and again next year. I do not agree with you, because for a world no.1, there is no draw that is 'tough'.

  5. i really don't think it matters. just as long as he keeps winning then eventually he'll win the title. besides if he has a tougher draw it means that he has proven himself better than federer. though i hope for federer to win the wimbledon title.hahahha. really i think the important thing is to win. 'cause it's the only way to prove that he's the best.

  6. He does, actually. Come on... Federer has to face Dominic Hrbaty (never heard of him), Robin Soderling (not that good), and now Marc Gicquel (never heard of him). I honestly think Nadal has a very tough draw. He had to face Beck, and now Ernests Gulbis! They guys got some skill! Now he has to face Kiefer, and maybe even Andy Murray! That seems like a difficult draw!!

  7. Im soooo glad ive found someone who agree`s with me lol ! I definitely think Rafa`s draw is a lot harder. I mean he had the upcoming Gulbis to take care of in the 2nd round whereas Fed had Soderling. I feel like roger is playing all these old men haha. The only hope for Roger to have a pretty decent match against a good player would have been Novak in the semis, but where did he go ? haha bleh Roger will definitely make the final, Rafa better play pretty good in his upcoming matches or they`ll be trouble :(

  8. u r rite, there is a tough road ahead for nadal and i dont even kno if he will make it to the finals
