Who agrees there should be a ##Question_Title##.99 gas day in the entire u.s, with all the gas stations participating?

How about doing it even once every year? I know this won't do much to help gas prices nowadays, but give us a break at least once a year. Who agrees? I don't thing one day is going to hurt the gas companies and their bosses!

That would mean OPEC would participate and that is not going to happen.

The next day, share prices for oil companies would drop reallly low and oil companies would collapse so you would have no gas!!!!!! even if it is a liquid which is called petrol.

What a great idea, care about the short term and have cheap oil for one day then the next have a world with really expensive rare oil.

So the laws of supply and demand should be suspended for one day?  

It's a stupid "feel-good" idea that would do nothing to address the real issue.  Besides, the oil companies would just raise the price on other days to make up the difference.

That would mean that ll the oil companies and OPEC would have to participate also. I really don't see that happening. I would be nice though. Also, would there be a limit on how much an individual, or individual families could purchase ?

I agree it should be one day a month though.If not buying gas won't hurt them then by giving it to us cheaper for one day shouldn't hurt them either!Nice thought.
