Saints are a great side, as good as their last match, oops, was it Leeds 33 Saints 6 and they lost again at Wakey earlier in the season, still a great side, consistent.

I think UK super league is played in different conditions to OZ league. Melbourne Storm are formidable and unfortunately when ever a super league team plays an Oz team it's in the UK in freezing wet conditions. St Helen's are a great team and the years have proved it. BUT, on the world stage? I would put any of the top 5 N.R.L. teams against them. If it came down to "the biff". I reckon it would be a good match up.

Dude. The Melbourne Storm who are champions for the 2nd year in a row in the NRL would/should be able to beat St Helens quite easily. Provided you do not schedule the match during the off-season for Australia but when St Helens are hitting peak form at the business end of the season in the UK. The Storm demolished Manly in the final of the NRL and will do the same to St Helens if given the chance to be in peak form at the end of there season.

I ain't no big fan of RL but from what I watch, I would say St Helens are consistent enough to be  one, if not the best RL teams, they are always in the top!

My Mighty Manly Sea-Eagles are the Greatest although was not to be in this years Grand Final. The Sea-Eagles are on track to be so. 2008 or 2009 definately our comp to win.

Saints hold the trophy of "World Club Champions" but they aren't even Super League champions (despite holding a better record than any other Super League Club) so won't be able to contest the title when next it's played.

As with other contributors I'd like to have seen a WCC match where Saints played in Australia and see them test themselves away from the UK.
