  1. i wrote a poem in my backyard while a thunderstorm was approaching,  very cool.

    mix it up a bit

  2. I agree, my best poems sometimes just come from a phrase that eventually becomes in some form or fashion, the title to the poem.

  3. when i write my poems, it usually starts when I'm in a bad or depressed mood....I'll just sit there, think of a topic and just let the words make they're way to the page....i usually don't even really know what i wrote until i read it over...

  4. Being inspired always makes things turn out better.

  5. When words flow naturally it makes for beautiful Writings and Poetry. Sometimes people think too hard and end up with writers block or "overthink" the process. I think that when the mood hits and the words flow... write! It's all about what works for you!

  6. well i think that it has to come to you naturually to be "the best".  it doesn't mean that if you TRY to write potery that it won't turn out good but the potery that i write ''just beacause" or when ideas come to me are much better then the ones assigned from language arts as homeowork! ;D

  7. when i write i think a lot. i usually start with an initial thought. and then go from there. because it's all about the wording and making the word fit how i want it too.

  8. I think that poetry comes straight from the heart.  You can't sit there and tell your heart how to feel or force anything out.  People have different ways of expressing how they feel and their emotions and if you can't naturally do that with writing then you're going to have a seriously hard time trying to produce a piece of writing that is meaningful and worth reading.  So with all that said, yes I agree with you!
