personally i find it a bit unfair (to say the least).

some people are born into complete starvation, and below standard living. and yet people are born into more power than most of us can ever dream of obtaining.

how is this fair at all.

  1. well, life isn't fair, then you die.  sad, but true.  You can agree or disagree, but fact is, we are all curoius to some degree about what it would be like to BE that person, now, aren't we?  :-)

  2. I don't really have a problem with royalty.  I consider it a fact of life.   Just like it is a fact of life that wealthy industrialists have a lot of money.

Nobody said that life had to be fair.

  3. It is an anachronism.

  4. It had some "weight" in Biblical times,

I find the whole idea to be ridiculously outmoded and an insult to the concept of "person"

As a totem of cohesion in society, it's "awe" really rested in the the deployment of "state terror" to an "anointed" end

Modern society need neither chieftain nor king..a standing army is no longer on a feudal  liege  but  on a democratic

    consent..

  5. So what makes them better than us ?? Money ?? I definately am not a royalist. Why should they get a share in our taxes(Australia),what have they ever done for me ??????Get rid of the lot of 'em I reckon.( I mean take away their status, not kill 'em) Nothing's fair in this world anymore........

  6. The Queen and the royal family are an anachronism which has no place in the modern world. I think we were given an insight into the Queen's character when we saw her have a 'hissy fit' at that photographer. Spoilt, miserable and full of herself. She doesn't smile a lot, does she?

No 'Lizzie Windsor', it's time to draw the curtains on the dysfunctional Windsors Inc. and VOTE ourselves a head of state who will be accountable to the people who actually pay the wages.

  7. I don't

the only thing that makes them different from us is

money, gold, big houses, posh voices and bad hair cuts :P

  8. No matter what; the whole world is one big class system. There's always going to be the haves and the have-nots.

  9. I don't get it either. Why countries continue with a monarchy is strange to me. But hey, it's their country not mine. Whatever floats their boat. I usually just keep my opinion to myself so as to not get into arguements or offend anyone who has a monarchy.

  10. you can neither blame nor condemn someone for their birth situation, blame or accuse society not the child
