  1. I believe it.  The more I learn about my planet and the universe and its complexities, the more I am in awe of the superior being that is preventing all the celestial bodies from colliding and destroying each other.

  2. It only applies to movies, in my eyes. So, no, I do not agree with it. Someone with a "simple" mind could become interested in science...yet never stop to ponder "why?" Just "how."

  3. Not,science and religion have always clashed. Many scientist try to explain things with logic and formulas rather than creation.

Religions try to explain things by the almighty.and creationism.

  4. Yes and no.

'Spirit' is an ambiguous term.  In the context many take it, they think this is a quote about god.  In that context, no, there is nothing to show evidence of purposeful, intelligent guidance to the universe, and a lot to go against it.

It sounds like the kind of thing the Einstein might have said, but Einstein was an atheist and would have been referring to the forces of nature and their existence as something beyond complete understanding by man, something to both study and awe.  In that sense, yes I agree with it.
