I just got back from the match and have to say apart from Sagna and at times Nasri, I can't remember the last time I saw us play so badly, wenger got it totally wrong the midfield was non existant he should have started with Song instead of eboue and taken walcott off who was invisible, wilshere should have been let loose, at least he would have run at them and the ball was just going from end to end, but as a life time Arsenal supporter I have experienced a lot worse, and still believe when we get our players fit again we will be as strong or stronger then last year and Nasri is going to be a class player, am I delusional or have I got a point

  1. only yourslf ..................

  2. hiya mate.....after yet another barrel of shite performance from Spurs....i dont know what to say apart from p!ss off berbatov ramos and that idiot poyet

  3. it's only the start of the season so don't read too much into it. Remember that Man U also made a stuttering start to last season but they eventually won the league. Also with Ronaldo being out til October or November, and the fact that they will play Chelsea and Liverpool back to back in that time, they can drop points. All we have to do is focus on our own performances which will definitely improve once we have Fabregas, Eduardo and Rosicky back.

  4. Wenger need to buy more experienced players to strengthen the arsenal team.

  5. He shouldn't have let Gilberto go, he was a very loyal player and was strong in midfield. We need to buy a good strong central midfielder and our creativity is not there.

  6. mate i've seen some great gunners teams over the years but to say the least this season ain't gonna be one, yous have sold to many players and only bought players to replace them and have added nothing to make the squad better.

  7. I've already posted a question myself where I went into more detail about the game. The thing I found most worrying about today is the attitude of the players. Apart from Clichy and a select few others, it didn't look like any of our players wanted it. There was no sense of urgency and Gallas did NOTHING to try and encourage the team.

I'm not one to be pessimistic, we can still do this. (Ex: 2001/2002 our Double season, we lost our second game to Leeds) But in order for us to  put forth a strong title challenge we need some midfield reinforcements. Simply put, many of our youngsters are just not ready.

  8. If you want to be depressed I cannot stop you, however I am a Man U fan and by your reasoning we too are in the mire. Terrible first game, Ronaldo out for weeks, other injuries too. Well I have a little more faith in the Arsenal ( and Man U) We will both be up there at the end of the season with Chelsea and Liverpool. Walcott has still got some learning to do but he is a tasty player. Plenty of young talent and Arsene is about the only manager in the Prem I would let replace the Boss. Good luck and enjoy.

  9. i still think your good for a cup bud ... the league i doubt you have the resources to win the league but on the day you could give anyone a game ....

  10. you have a point man i missed the game but i shouldnt worry about it much. Remember Man U last year and their bad start... its a matter of getting players healthy and getting our rythm back. If we stay constant we can pull close to Chelsea who in my opinion will be the team to stop

  11. i just want one arsenal fan to admit adebayor is ONE of the worst divers on the planet and i'll be happy

  12. no terry u do have a point but its the second game give it some time n then complain! i mean don't just judge now i mean last year man u was doing bad and they ended up winning! so that proves that anything can happen! as u would say, "have faith o' young one!"

  13. sorry for swearing but that was just fcuking pathetic. worst Arsenal midfield I've ever seen in my ******* life.

just pathetic to be honest..eboue was our best player,he showed desire and tryed to push us on. but over all we are a pile of S**t today.

Nasri..gonna take the boy some time.

denilson??? get that boy outa here!!!! along with the other "youngsters" it's the premier league not the irish fcuking league 1

  14. Yeah its not looking good.... but no need to panic yet..

I remember how good Arsenal looked for the WHOLE first half of the season...

...and I had to keep reminding Man U fans not to panic...

but yeah.. you were worse than we were against Newcastle...and YES... Adebayor did dive,,,.☺not just TODAY.. he is a diver..

when was the last time Ronaldo dived..?>

    dR bad

stop living in the past .. he was excellent last season.. and without the diving

  15. man.utd had the same amount of luck at the beggining of the season and look where they have finished

have faith and as long as we get through the next few matches things will slowly sort out for arsenal...hopefully

  16. Don't kid yourselves, the League will be between United and Chelsea again this season, Arsenal could maybe win a cup but even when they get their injured players back, they still will fall a little short in terms of winning the League.

  17. arsenal will win a trophy this season

  18. I watched it earlier, it was a horrible game. Arsenal was actually playing like a English Premiership team, that won't get us anywhere. I wasn't surprised we never got a goal back. But then again, Fulham fulfilled their plan.

  19. I heard Ade did one of the most disgraceful dives in history
